- English 10 to attend Bard in Sept. 2019 ($3,000.00) 
- perhaps the $7, 000 balance should be divided into grade course use and incidentals plus department meetings/get togethers? bearing in mind the grade 10 play cost
- Perhaps $2,000.00 for a grade 11 play?
-Perhaps $800 each grade (integrated, 10, 11, 12) for class supplies/guest speakers...= $2, 400.00
- $1, 000.00 slush fund (things come up along the way over and above the allocated budget)
-$1, 600.00 = department meeting breakfasts, lunch at Writer's Festival/year end dinner/play etc. (may need a little more here!)

One of my difficulties this year was trying to discover texts (e.g. short stories) for use in the classroom. I struggle with finding refreshing scripts for script work in class and it would be cool if the English 10 class wrote scripts for the Drama 10 class to perform. This is not their fault as they naturally struggle with English and to ask them to be creative and write creatively is a very difficult task for them to do. 

I think the course could improve if we could limit the amount of international students in the class as currently there are 9 international students and 6 non-international students.
