I am also a teacher trainer in the area of applied linguistics, eTwinning and ICT in teaching languages
I believe that it is by meeting different people and learning from each other that we widen our visions of the world. So, travelling and meeting people is one of my interests as it allows me to learn about other cultures and see the world through other perspectives. Topics I am interested in: entrepreneurship, creating apps, languages and cultures, arts, literature, environmental issues, global issues. I live in Viseu (30 kms from Sátão). I teach since 1991.

In my younger years, I lived in France, near Paris, during 15 years.

I love languages and to discover new countries, new persons and their culture. I think it’s a way to learn more about each other and to respect our differences.

I want to improve my teaching by trying new methods.

Teaching a living language in the changing world, where technology is always present, imposes a need to keep up-to-date every day to be able to use new technologies for learning. Sharing knowledge, I believe will improve not only as a teacher but also as a human being.

My interests are: meeting new people and cultures, travelling, nature, healthy food and religion.

Employed as a fine arts teacher, at a local high school in Sátão, Portugal. Over the years, I have been privileged to teach various subjects, such as Visual Education, Drawing, Technical Drafting and Geometry, just to name a few. I am passionate about giving young people the best possible education in life, and enjoys working in a busy environment and relishes the challenge of managing a diverse workload.
