The jury allowed their personal opinions and almost everyone's opinions in this town at the time as an excuse to blind them from reality. Using race as an excuse to see only what you want to see is not only unfair, but unprofessional. Though I am disappointed with the verdict the jury made, I am not surprised by the jury's decision.
