         <description><![CDATA[<div>The difference between using the <strong>presen perfect </strong>and the <strong>past simple tense</strong> is simple: it's a question of finished and unfinished actions. <br><br>As I'm sure you know by now, the <em>present perfect</em> is used to express something that started in the past and continues to the present, something that happened very recently, or we use it to talk about experiences.<br><br>On the other hand, we use the <em>past simple</em> to talk about things that happened in the past, started and ended there.</div>]]></description>
