Alonso Sandoval-Curse of the moon children

The book was intriguing at first, but it quickly lost its charm because of chases and its weird chapter endings, i wish they had more time to explore some ideas like how the collector feels, the animals, the confusion for the main characters and others, so that the chapters could more than just a chase scene to keep you interested.
Overall i would say it suffers because it is a fiction express book that could have been done so much better with much time and a free range of ideas from the author.

Alien Isle is a book that may look like a simple sci-fi story but I believe it managed to briefly touch upon more important themes. This book references immigration, racism and refugees by suggesting very specific things about the main character. However, they aren't the main focus and you may just want to pay extra attention to details to catch the hints. Overall, the book is very entertaining and unique, it manages to develop characters well for the its short extension, and to maintain the reader's attention.

I truly enjoyed reading this book, I found it really unexpected and entertaining because of the amazing plot twists and unique characters. Some themes this book deals with are social injustices, how people need to leave their homes because of war and deal with the separation of their families. I believe that a person that enjoys reading fiction but at the same time with a bit of reality would truly enjoy reading this book.

Between the lines is an action-packed story that follows the war-time adventures of Karl and Louis. It's full of unexpected plot twists and captivating scenery. On the other hand, some details of the climax aren't very realistic, which shadows the powerfull message of the story. Otherwise, the topics developed in the cousins' adventures are family, friendship, loyalty and respect. Finally, I would recommend this story to anyone interested in a book similar to Hidden.

I read the book Alien Isle, and overall it was disappointing. While the themes of the book relate to inclusion and family, the author tried to include mystery and fiction, which in my opinion drifted the focus away from the initial plot. Furthermore, I believe the plot itself was very predictable and the mystery part was useless. On the other hand, there was not a good character construction, since you cannot tell much about the characters' personalities. I would recommend you this book if you like more sci-fi books, without a thought-provoking analysis.

Because of story is partly guided by the readers, it became really unpredictable and at the same time intriguing.
Another great point that the author take in conscience is the variability of the characters, which aren't common or classical at all, specially the protagonist who's hereditary disease is part of the story main problem in many times.
I really recommend to read this book, considering the facts previously mentioned.

Basically what every performer dream of.
However, as I continue things for the protagonist were only getting worst, all the things she wanted were just so far to reach even if she dreamed for them which makes the story rich and easier to empashize with.

It was interesting that the author go further and talked about her friends realities and perspestives at the same time as the protagonist. The fact that it uses a coloquial language make the lecture more enjoyable. Challenges were not easy and most of the time they were portray in a way that feels human :)

Imagine having to flee from your own nation without your parents or family, only your brother to get to a strange town where you don't know anyone or anything, and you have someone totally strange to you as your caregiver. This happened to Parvaneh and Nasim in the Alien Aisle book which I really recommend reading. This little tale is quite unpredictable and creepy, as it deals with fantastic and a bit unrealistic themes. However, it also addresses issues such as bullying, racism, loss of loved ones, overcoming fears, among many others. My opinion about the book is really controversial since I feel that it was an acceptable and entertaining book just not for me, it was not really my style. If I had to recommend it to someone in particular, it would be someone who likes fantasy, fiction, and unexpected endings. I hope you read it!

Also everything that happened seemed kind of predictable because everything was told in a way you could undestarnd the main characther because you could just feel what he was going through. Also in the book you can see what most people can feel once in their life which is someone judging you simply for who you are, which made everything even more realistic. Now I can say that none of the audience will expect that a “weirds individual” kidnaps the train and subdues the passengers to a clone machine. I consider “sleepers” is about friendship by the way the friends escaped from the enemies which is an intense battle with the main villain. It had a unique finish because it seemed to be so unrealistic with the things that happened while the character escape. All in all, I would recommend this book to anyone who is guided to read a book by its captaincy

About the book in general, things happened quite fast, and even events could just last 1 or 2 pages, which obviously meant that details weren't as much as i would wanted it too. The characters were well developed, i really liked the fact that the author decided to pay attention to the others and not only the main one.

The book was pretty much interesting since the beginning. First, the book cover called my attention to choose the book, because I thought it was related to a scary story and it was.
The story is based on a man who lived in the forest who recollects kids to turn them into dolls with a curse, it was when the man sprinkles a powder on the child with the moonlight, finally, the victim is turned into a doll. He recollected kids with a trap, that was to attract them with different kind of desserts so they could enter to his cottage and make his plans works.
During the chapters, we could realize that each character has different interests, Brandon wanted to find his mother who faced the course. Here is when all the characters decide the best choice with discussions where everyone could give opinions.
The language is easy to understand and I really enjoyed spending my time reading the book. All the characters faced different problems but always leaning on each other. I definitely recommend you this book if you like creepy stories :)))

I read the book Sleepers by Mark Wright, and overall it was pretty disappointing. First of all, the author tried to write this science fiction story complementing it with an important topic like friendship. However, he couldn’t do it properly since the circumstances that the main characters were in ended up being totally repetitive. Furthermore, the topic of cloned people is not something innovative nor the idea of a powerful organization who wants to take control and look for world’s domination. Therefore, the whole intriguing atmosphere created at the beginning since the protagonists were kidnapped ended up being boring. Moreover, the author had all the tools to create a good story using the futuristic and technological aspects, but in the end it was just something traditional.
