post-war world in which rulers were to live by certain rules, however some of these rules were broken by the Soviets, and therefore trust was broken between them and the U.S.. 

The theme of this event is politics, as it was a political conference that helped establish a new postwar world.

These bombing mark the first (and only) time anyone has ever used atomic weapons as a means of warfare, and this event would go on to allow the Russians to gain nuclear technology which started the nuclear arms race.

The theme of this event is politics and power, as it was a way to end the powerful reign of JApan, and also showed the power of the U.S.A.

Truman felt that Communism was a threat to th western world, and placed a containment policy so that the west would be safe from the spread of communism.

This is an example of politics and power because it was a doctrine that established a political divide between the east and west. 

In order to help with the containment policy, congress passed the marshall plan that helped many western nations following the Second World War and ensured that they would remain capitalist,

This is an example of America in the World, as America reached out and helped their allies to ensure their safety from the spread of communism. 

This event showed the fear of the spread of communism at the time, and led to many blacklistings within the film industry in the years to come. 

This is an example of American Identity because people were being blacklisted for violating their American Identity, and supporting communism.

This organization was made of Western Nations whose primary goal was to stop the spread of communism, and unite against the common enemy. 

This is an example of America in the World because it was the creation of an alliance with overseas nations that shared a common goal.  

This war ended with deaths to both Americans and Soviets, and ended with the 28th parallel being reestablished, continuing the divide that already existed in the korean peninsula.

This event would go under America in the world, as it was an event that showed America's involvement and intervention in the world in the name of containment. 

This act ensured immigrant quotas, and finally gave some freedom to asians, that they did not have because of the Asian Exclusion act of 1924. 

This is an example of Migration and Settlement, as it was an act that provided legislation for the immigration of many people. 

The Cold War made it so that the United States wanted to compete with the Soviets in every way, and this led to a space race between the two sides. 

This is an example of Work, Exchange and Technology because it was a new administration that worked to advance the future for technology.

The goal of Kennedy’s new frontier was to expand upon the goals of the New Deal and Fair Deal, that which consisted of societal reform by his democratic predecessors. 

This was an example of Social structure because itr established social reforms for the future. 

This was the closest time in histoyr that we have come to Nuclear war because of this situation. There were Soviet Missiles off-shore of the U.S., and people freaked out. 

This goes under politics and power because it was solved diplomatically.

Kennedy was killed by Lee HArvey OSwald, and following his assassination, America grieved, and LBJ took office and took Kennedy;s policies and brought them with him.

This is American Culture because someone sought out to kill someone else because he did not believe in what the authority believed in. 

Johnson’s great society was a series of reforms that helped many people, however at the same time also created a situation where more and more children came to be born out of wedlock.

This is Social structure as it created for some social reofrms.

The Vietnam War was not widely accepted by many Americans, and in the end it did not really work out too well, so this is a stain on LBJ’s legacy

This is America in the World because America is intervening in another nation so that Communism is expounded. 

Reagsn’s time as President helped the economy grow with his hands off approach, which helps businesses grow and give to the economy. 

THis would be politics and power as it shows the economic policy promoted by his political ideals.

Following the world war, people came home and started families, and in the post-war world there was this baby boom, where the birth rate surged, and the death rate remained low.

This falls under Social Structures because it is a boom in a generation, which is a form of a social structure.
