More than 736,000 people were affected. The ash that was produced by the volcano affected even the fish(mostly tilapia and milkfish). The cause was said to be a magmatic intrusion that was driving the volcano's unrest. The long term solutions we can provide is monitoring them, and adapting/protecting ourselves.
