"Farewell My Concubine" is the Chinese-language film I would say is my favorite after watching it. It really left a deep impression on me and had a lasting emotional impact. It’s an amazing movie in terms of its plot, cinematography, composition, and music. The way the characters and the era evolve, along with the storyline, has a strong sense of fatalism, but it’s only the main character’s actions that continue to break free from it. I really like the lead actor, Leslie Cheung, and the connection between the characters is very moving.
