He consistently shows kindness and care by taking all teachers and staff out for meals at nice restaurants every semester and on special occasions, creating a warm and united school atmosphere.

He is also a generous supporter of the school—frequently donating to various needs and often covering the costs of school activities he initiates, all from his own pocket. I believe with all my heart, we all have been impacted by Dr. Penland in one way or more once you work with him.

We had all experience how he generously would give of his time and heart either sitting with us at the cafeteria or a coffee time together or a good meal with him.

All the wisdom we can absorb is more than gold or silver as he is a man of Proverbs 22:1. He just gave the right words to say at the right time but most of all the humility in his heart exudes in his life for Jesus.
