About our lesson, I am now lightened what is statistics and it's salient features and underlying terms and facts. I've learned so much in easier way compared when I was in college because it was more understandable. The subject was difficult yet interesting. For me Statistics help us to analyze the collected data by organizing, interpreting and summarizing data as well. I also learned difference between the descriptive and inferential statistics, the characteristics levels of 3 measurement under of this is nominal, ordinal and interval-ratio. The examples of independent variable and dependent variable was clear and well-explained. The subject and its basic concepts and methods were presented in a manner that we were given a chance to listen, to learn, and to be heard. For the entire session, the presentation was clear, terms and examples were explain in our manner that we can understand it. Other things that were still hanging in my mind were answered. Taking note of the keywords will surely guide us as we go along in learning more on Statistics much more on its application. I was able to say to myself a while ago that willingness to learn is a must for this subject, which is one of the vital parts of its completion. Looking forward to more learning!

First, I am hesitant and a bit scared taking this subject because the numbers and equations traumatized me ever since. I just felt relieved when our professor Dr. Sherwin Sapin made it simple and easy to understand. I learned really a lot today about the essence of statistics in our lives and how we can apply it more in the future of our research study. Also, my basic knowledge at the level of measurements in statistics has been refreshed. At the end, I already dropped the idea of hesitation because statistics are always everywhere and we people need facts and nothing but the facts.

"I've been learning for this in many years. And yet, my knowledge is not enough. That's why I enrolled MAED for Professional Development and I'm lucky that I started with this subject in the hand of Dr. Sherwin B. Sapin. Psychologically, I'm thinking that this subject was quit difficult than I took in my college. The concepts was deeper to comprehend and  charts concepts were hard to understand. But when the first day arrived my eagerness to learn was boost, my excitement showed by participating in the class . Dr. Sapin explanation was meaningful and easy to apprehend. Concepts and terms make simplier to recognized. In the other side, statistic is not more on collecting data, computing with formulas, it is a matter of making decision by analyzing, interpreting and making hypothesis and conclusions that will help us when conducting a research.
