Two years ago, i and my family decided to go to Vung Tau Beach for two days. We went there in our car. Everything was perfect with me, except for one thing that was the weather. When we got there, it started to rain. So we went to the hotel to check into our room.
After the rain had stopped, we went to the Vung Tau Lighthouse. It had ancient architecture with a height of about 18 meters. When I looked at it for the first time, I thought it was very historic, enormous, and impressive. We observed around the lighthouse and took lots of pictures.

A few moments later, it was dinner time, so my family drove the car to a restaurant. When we were enjoying dinner, someone suddenly shouted "Fire, run away!!". The manager had called for a firefighter. While we were waiting, there was a man with a teenager coming to the manager. He said that the boy was the arsonist. Everyone didn't believe much about that until he gave proof that the teenager was the arsonist.

Most people agree that having a part-time job is better for teenagers than for those who don't have one. That is the question we need to consider today.
It is certainly true that today there are a lot of teenagers have part-time job. As I can see, usually they often work as restaurant waiters, car washers, grocery store cashiers, etc. Teenagers working while studying may help them with their daily living expenses and help them know how to manage money. It is also undeniable that will create a sense of community.
On the other hand, doing a part-time job while studying means they won't have time for their family and friends, they'll pay less attention to their studies, and if they work at night they might have some health problems. Many adults believe this is too early, they believe postgraduate is better.
To conclude, I strongly believe that "something is better than nothing". So it is wiser to opt for a job which has the most benefits for them.

Dear mothers around the world,
I am writing to complain about the way you said that all teenagers are (were) addicted to social media. Specifically, you are always annoyed when your kids spend many hours surfing the Net and you believe that all teenagers
nowadays are addicted to social media. In my view, there are literally many teenagers who have interest in social media. However, not all teenagers do that and using social media too much does not mean that we rely on it and social media also includes lots of things not only bad stuff. For instance, I use social media to look up information for the lessons, hand in the assignments or learn English. It also helps us to relax after a hard-working day at school.
Therefore, I feel really upset when you keep a negative outlook on social media and I really do not like the way you consider all teenagers just like your kids. Besides, I have seen many parents use (using) punishment on their children to force them to stop using social media and I fully disagree with that.
I expect that parents would let their children have their own space.

Have you ever read a book that you just couldn't put down? If not, I have a book like that. It is called "Life or Death" by Micheal Robotham. Micheal is a detective novelist who has received many prestigious awards. And "Life or Death" is his first book is translated into Vietnamese.

It tells the story of Audie Palmer who has spent ten years in prison in Texas after pleading guilty to a robbery in which four people died and seven million dollars is missing. Ten years have passed, tomorrow Audie can be free again but he chooses to escape from prison. "Why would a man serving a long prison sentence escape the day before he's due to be released?". But he's not running, he's trying to save someone else outside the prison. There are a lot of twists and turns along the way. It has many humanistic meanings even though it's a detective novel.

What caught my attention was the plot. It isn't too terrifying likes other novels. It's light but still enough to attract the reader. For me, there is nothing to dislike in this book. In each chapter, there is something that makes us have to think deeply. I bet you will love it but don't stop until chapter 14.

All in all, if you're hungry for a good book, read on. I'd highly recommend it. So if you haven't read it yet, you can read it online now on the website dtv-ebook.com.

Which is a page-turner that is flawless from A to Z, one that makes you could not put it down? “Sans Famille” (No Family) is an example, written by Hector Malot in 1878 and it was a roaring success for a novel in general and also Malot in particular. In fact, I have read that book over and over again for a long time until I may have remembered almost all of the novel’s details.
The novel talks about a child, Remi, who is on his journey to find his biological parents. On the way to his family, he met many people and many stories, which he remembered until he pass away. Specifically as follows, Remi was an abandoned child, he used to have a peaceful childhood until many incidents caused him far away from his foster mother and the long story begins there. I won’t spoil it anymore but I assurance you’ll love it.
What caught my attention was the character Vitalis, he made readers think he is a noble human due to his love for Remi is immense and also his virtuous gesture. By the way, I think the way the author arranged interleaved many contrasting details is a perfect choice, it makes people strongly empathetic with him. The only criticism I had was why Vitalis lost his life, if he could have a delighted ending of life with Remi, it will be a happy ending.
In short, if you haven’t read this page-turner yet, try to read it, by all means, I am definitely sure you won’t be disappointed.

Have you ever read a book that you just couldn’t put it down? If you haven't, let me introduce you to a book that I can't put down and it’s called “ Tuoi tre dang gia bao nhieu” written by Rosie Nguyen in 2018.It was also a teenager's favorite book at that time.

It’s kind of a self-help book so when I first read it, I must say that it was very engaging and also changed my mind about reading books. The book is a contemplative story of the author through her life journey drawn from her nearly 10 years of youth. Thereby, the author wants to convey the importance of reading to us, telling us the value of adversity. Moreover, it is a better understanding of your passion. Telling us to act instead of thinking or here is about how to go out to learn about the wide world.

What caught my attention was the way Ms. Rosie put her stories, examples, practical advice and all her heart into the book. Moreover, the content really appealed to me because it gave me inspiration and self-development. Said that we have to act and work because if we sit still, potential will never be able to turn into talent.

If you are still in your teens, young adults, I strongly recommend you this book and you should read it even once. I'm sure it won't let you down.

Have you ever read a book that you just couldn’t put down? If you haven't already, then “Flipped” is the right book for you. It was written by a novelist called Wendelin Van Draanen in 2001. It was a masterpiece and has been made into a film in 2010.

It’s set in the past from 1994 to 2000. It’s tell the story of a boy called Bryce Loski and a girl called Juli Baker in a period of coming of age starting when Juli moves into Bryce’s neighborhood in the second grade. She develops an annoying and persistent crush on him that Bryce just wants to go away but over the course of six years their feelings flip for each other. Bryce, once distant and cold, is now interested in Juli but he does not show this new feeling well after he upsets her on three separate occasions which causes Juli to begin to dislike him. There is also a movie based on the novel which I think does justice to the book portraying everyone accurately and evoking the appropriate emotions. The only major difference is the time period, the novel takes place from 1994-2000 and the movie takes place from 1957-1963. I personally enjoyed the the 1957-1963 setting better because that emphasizes the whole playing with the neighbors outside for hours and everyone knows aesthetic which is necessary to the plot.

What caught my attention was the story is so lovely that, although it ended completely and didn't feel rushed, readers were still looking forward to the sequel, later on, about the side story. Perhaps that's why the film adaptation of "Flipped" was so well received. The only criticism I had was that sometimes, Sharry Stalls( Juliana’s friend ) is more prominent than the main characters.

To conclude, this book is a real page-turner. I absolutely loved it and I’d definitely recommend it to teenagers. If you haven’t read it yet, you should buy it today, otherwise you would miss your chance to read a perfect masterpiece. I promised that you won’t disappointed.

It was the first Japanese manga I read most. Composed and illustrated by Furudate Haruichi in 2012 and was adapted into an anime series by Production I.G in 2015. In Viet Nam, the series is copyrighted and published by Kim Dong Publishing House under the name Haikyu! – The Little Giant.

The story is about a boy named Hinata Shoyo who dreams of becoming a volleyball player. One day, Hinata watched his idol, known as “The Little Giant” win a big match for the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club. In Middle School, he was unlucky to study at a school where only he had passion for volleyball. In the finally year of Middle School, Hinata finally had a team to compete for the school. During the match, his team fight with a team have a talented volleyball student, known as the “King of the Court” named Kageyama Tobio, who was not supported by everyone on his team. Even though Hinata’s team lost the match, he showed his never gave up. When the match was over, he ran to Kageyama and promised that he would beat him when he studied at High School. One year later, Hinata has entered Karasuno High School and the first shock he received is that Kageyama also studied this school too! But thanks to that, Kageyama and Hinata made a destructive duo, is a nightmare for other teams. The two boy’s unbelievably confident and charisma helped the other members in the team constantly improve themselves and strive to reach a new level.

In Haikyu! It’s very special, I love all characters on it, it’s very cool! All skill is very strong and hard. I really like the position libero because I thought that is very easy but I need to have a correct precise aim. In the future, if I played volleyball, I would choose to be a libero. On the other hand, I don’t like one team, is name Nohebi. They play very dirty, they speak badly of the opponent’s shortcomings, making somebody on the other team distracted and angry. During the match between Nekoma and Nohebi, they dislocated the leg of Nekoma's libero, his name was Yaku, and had to be substituted. But luckily, the Nekoma team is win and Nohebi is lose, in my mind said: “Ha, loser”. I don’t like that team but all team is play very good. The story of the manga and anime is fantastic.

To sum up, I really love this manga, I read over and over again. You can buy it on the Kim Dong’s book store or read online, is not finish at translate to Viet Nam, you can read the English translate too. The movie is have 4 seasons, the season 4 is have 2 parts. Now we just wait to the season 5 (or in the future san have season 6). Just read the manga and watch the anime now, you won’t be disappointed it!

Have you ever read a book that you just couldn't put down? It is called Toi Thay Hoa Vang Tren Co Xanh . It was written by ( Nguyễn Nhật Anh ) It was a masterpiece and has been made into a film.
The story is the diary pages about the daily life and mind of Thieu boy. Thieu is a 7th grader living in poor countryside, with his younger brother Tuong. It's set in the past in a place called the countryside in Viet Nam. There are lots of twists and turns along the way.
What caught my attention was daily life stories around two boys and childhood memories in the countryside- The childhood memories really appealed to me because childhood is only once in a lifetime so we must cherish it, it's the best memory. Tuong is a cute, gentle, tolerant boy who loves his brother very much and likes to play with many animals including insects and snakes. The boy is introverted, loves to read books, and is very passionate about fairy tales, especially the purple Toad story, that's why he raised a toad under the bed and named it "Cu Cau". Thieu is an extrovert, quite mischievous, and has accidentally let his younger brother suffer many times after his own pranks. The only criticism I had was that why wasn't the book released sooner?
To sum up, I highly recommend reading this book. This book is a real page-turner. If you are hungry for a good book, read on!

Have you ever read a physics book? There are lots of attractive books and we can learn lots of knowledge. But for me, I like the book "Life of Issac Newton and the gravitation theory. Written by Charles. W. Misner. I read it for about a week because there are 1030 pages and 12 topics. It's very popular all around the world. It's sold millions of copies and has been into a documentary film.
It's set in the past in a village in England. There is a kid who is thinking about a wind turbine. But one apple falls and drops onto his head. He said, "Ouch, what". He finds out that why the apple falls suddenly. There is a force acting on the apple and cause it to fall. A long time ago, he wants his village to be more modern and start his career. He moves to a school in Australia and works there. But he's just wanted to do some experiments and finds something that some of the physics all around the world can't find out. He makes friends with Harley, who works with him in a coffee shop. He helps Newton for completing his theorem. Finally, they finish their researches and makes the world access gravitation. Currently, It still exists and won't be able to forget the most successful physics "Issac Newton"
What I loved about the book is that the moment that Isaac Newton finds out the theorem and the journey of his career.. he's very intelligent and hard-working. He is very grandiose (bad meaning). I admire him a lot and want to become a person like him. But there is one thing that I don't keen on that is bout the deaf of Isaac Newton. I feel very sad because it doesn't have happy endings.
All in all, this book is a real page-turner. I absolutely loved it and I'm sure that I will recommend it to my friends and my family members. So if you have enough money, I want you to buy this book because you can feel relaxed after learning and have some pieces of knowledge. I swear that you won't be disappointed

For about 4 months before, I’d met a girl in a street restaurant. At first, I feel her quite simple and gentle, whereas when I contact her more regularly, I changed my opinion about her. She became more weird and comical…
One peaceful Sunday, I asked her out for a dinner and she agreed. I haven’t chosen where we will have dinner because I want to have something to talk about on the way. My brainstorming efforts started to crumble due to a rather unexpected and confusing incident.
Specifically as follows, when we started, I asked her which thing we will have for dinner, she replied that she was satisfied with every dish I chose. Whereas there is nothing to talk about if she really delighted with my choice, whenever asked about the specific dish, she always says: “I don’t like it” but even I asked over and over again many times, she still said: “Anything…”.

About 4 months ago, after my cousin just finished her university entrance exam, she looked really sad and nervous so I decided to give her a little gift to cheer her up. Also because I’ve seen how much effort she put in and I rarely give her a present so I would do it by surprise.
A week later, I brought the gift to her room where she was lying in bed at 7 a.m. At first, I could see a bit of surprise on her face when I came in. Then I said: “Wake up! I have a gift for you!” and I gave her the gift. She started opening it – it was a desk lamp but you can write on it, she had sent a message to our group that she wanted it so I bought it. I thought she was excited and delighted when she realized what was the gift. Unfortunately, she started bored again and of course, I didn’t know why. But I didn’t want to ask so I left the room.
Afterward, on that day’s afternoon, I and my brothers came downstairs to play badminton before I went home, as usual, I went by her room and saw the gift was on the floor. To be honest, I felt a bit irritated at that time because she didn’t say anything even a thank you. How should I know did she like it? Before I came home, she asked me why I didn’t bring “it” home. She thought that I bought it for myself and left it in her room. “Oh my god!”- I thought then I told her it was her present and I had told her many times before. She had ticked me off with that question after a long day of silence.
Finally, she felt a bit ashamed, tried to be surprised and said thank you to me. I wasn’t going to make a fuss so I smiled back and went home.

I look forward to receiving a reply from you in due course so that we can finalize our plan as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Thuy Linh
