The author is being real and listing the ugly truth. However, he fails to mention any pros only gracing the cons. Four positive factors may be: 

1) No need for frequent central bank intervention, which always happens. In other words, the CB always intervenes in the foreign exchange market to maintain the fixed exchange rate. 

2) Exports become cheaper, which is a beneficial pro. Hence, it becomes more competitive to foreign buyers and it will boost the domestic demand that Egypt has been aching for since ever. 

3) When Exporting activity grows, its an economic growth as well. This may provide career opportunities and employment. 

4) This will encourage tourism in Egypt as the tourism started to come back as normal. Also, this will make us as Egyptians depend more on the local goods and encourage Egyptian products
