I first read this book at my grandparents house in Acton with my older sister, Gianna. We were playing with trains in the basement, and we saw this book on the ground. I had recently heard about the Eiffel Tower, so When I saw this book with it pictured on the front I knew I had to read it.

Make Way for Ducklings

When I lived in Boston, me and my family would always go to the Boston Public Garden. There we would feed ducks and have picnics. In the garden, there are a few small statues of a mother duck with her children following behind her. They are the ducks from this book. When I was young, I thought that the ducklings were the cutest thing ever. I would always go pet the duckling statue when we went to the garden.

Where the Wild Things Are

When I was very young, me and my sisters favorite book was Where the Wild things are. We loved it so much that our parents had gotten our bedroom walls painted to be like the book. That's me in the white costume that I also wore for halloween.

The One and Only Ivan

I discovered this book when I was around 6 years old. After a trip to the bookstore, I had brought home this book since my Dad said it would be good to lean towards chapter books. This was the first chapter book I had ever read. A couple years later, I found out that a live action movie had been released of this book and watched it with my family.

Boston Children's Library

In Kindergarten through 2nd grade, we would always walk to the library on Wednesday. Me and my friends would always grab the nearest fantasy book and read it together. I remember loving sitting by the buildings on the walls.

Love That Dog

I found this book in the summer after 3rd grade when my teacher had recommended it to me for summer reading. I would read it and remember relating the title to my dog thinking that I was "betraying" my cat because of the other book, "Hate that Cat"

Hate That Cat

After reading "Love that dog", I picked up this book. I read this going into fourth grade. Again, I felt like I was being unfair to my cat due to the title. After finishing the book, I went on to buy both books for myself to put them in my library.

Where the Sidewalk Ends

This book was given to me by my grandfather. After reading two poetry books, I had really wanted to read more. I also put this in my library in my room right next to "Love that Dog" and "Hate that Cat". I can recall reading this book with my older sister, Gianna and sometimes my younger brother, Noah.

Wonder

In the fifth grade, we were required to read this book. I usually don't like books that are required, but this one was good. It was very detailed and had a good plot and lesson. After reading this book, we watched the movie as a class.

All We Have Left

This book was the most recent one I had read besides our Sumer reading book, "I must Betray you". This book is about the people affected by 9/11 and their stories. This book was required reading in 8th grade, and I thought I wouldn't like it. After I said this, I finished the book in one week. It had a great way of explaining people different point of views, and really made the reader think.
