Dervio is also an ideal starting point for those who enjoy walking in nature. You can take the wayfarer’s path (sentiero del viandante), which climbs up to Piantedo in the province of Sondrio, passing through the quaint little hamlet of Corenno Plinio.

And if you leave the lake behind you, taking the road of Valvarrone (SP67) you reach the refuge Roccoli Lorla, where the path to Monte Legnone starts (Monte Legnone is the highest peak of the Alpine range Orobie in the province of Lecco.)
