Who can I follow as a good example?

Mary is the most beautiful example of a mother and a faithful woman that I know. She is beautiful and pure inside and out and thats something we all desire. As we continue to grow and are faced with challenges, Mary is someone we can turn to for advice. Especially for girls, she is a strong example of how to act and be a strong woman of faith. We can look to her as our spiritual mother and as a guide to lead us in our discernment. Mary also teaches us how to say yes and accept whatever God's plan is. She trusted in God's will and was ready for anything that was sent her way.

Where is God calling me?

I'm not exactly sure where God is calling me but I have always loved working with children. I've always dreamed of being a mom with a family. Thus, my calling could be the the married life. On stewardship day, I got to go to Northland Education Center and that really reminded me how much I love showing Jesus to children. Also, I'm responsible and I have natural leadership skills which are both important qualities of a mother. Of course it is not set in stone and I will continue to pray about my vocation. In this moment though, I need to remain a faithful single person, working towards becoming a Saint.

What am I doing now?

As a seventh grader, to grow in holiness now, I can do many things. >First of course is keeping my strong relationship with God. By praying, attending mass, and doing stewardship, I can strengthen that relationship.

>Also, I can be a friend and a shoulder to those who need it. I can teach them about the love of God and more importantly show them the love of God.

>I can also do the little things such as helping my mom around the house or giving everything 100% and being the best version of myself I can be.

Something I am excited about is that day when I know that I'm doing exactly what God wants. The day when I realize his plan, and accept it whole-heartedly.

A fear I have though is being uncertain. I want to do what God wants but I am one who needs a definite answer.I have to trust that God will tell me my vocation in a unique way custom to me.

The most important reason I think I must answer my call from God is because I know we were put on this Earth for a reason. God tells us that so many times. So if you don't answer his call then what do you feel your purpose is? Thats my question to those who don't have faith. Why would you be put on this earth if everything you earn here would end once you die? Luckily for us that's not the case because in Heaven we get the greater reward and everything we earned material wise on this Earth doesn't matter. So our lives should be spent doing God's work because that's all that's going to matter in the end.

We all have a special mission to complete beyond single life, unless that is your final vocation. Either single life, married life, or religious life.

In marriage, it must be a three person relationship: you, your spouse, and God

In the single life, we are God's special army and are able to devote our time more fully to God

Religious life: we get to lead others to the Church in a special way by bringing the mission of Heaven on Earth.

These are all important to look at as we discern our calling.
