During this period of time which started on the 1400's, many European explored several regions around Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. These people who would travel with the explorers to several of these regions would also be merchants since they would collect goods that are rare and in high demand back from their origin, and start to sell these goods for such a high price once back.

These Portuguese Sailors have attempted that went around Africa, all the way back to the Middle East and into Asia.
