Climate change is also endangering snow leopards. The mammals the snow leopards eat have diseases because of the thawing of the permafrost soil. There are about fewer than 70 snow leopards left, out of a global population of about 4,700!

When there was a bleached-white coral it meant that it was stressed by the heat. That stress causes the reef to expel the algae that lives in the tissue and losing algae means the reef loses energy.

In the Great Barrier Reef the heated temperatures caused bleaching which took away the color from the vibrant coral. More than 90% of the coral was impacted by the bleaching and scientists say the coral may never get its color back!
