People were bing pushed out of their cities and they were also being put into slavery. One of the basic human rights is that people should not be put into slavery so this is definitely a big example of how their rights were violated.</div>]]></description>

There was a lot to be done in Haiti. His power and crazy accomplishments attracted many unwanted enemies. These enemies lured him to their base where they tortured and killed him. L’Overture, thinking that they were trying to help him with the change of the country, went to their land and was sadly killed.</div>]]></description>
