I joined the Royal Artillery. I also married Nina Paterson and I was transferred from Ceylon, to North Africa where I worked for the British secret service. I started exploring the nearby ancient ruins all by myself and I started studying to become a surveyor. I got invited to Bolivia because they knew I was very trustworthy and RGS said even though I wasn't familiar wit dangerous things, I did hop right on my job and started building my self up. After arriving to Bolivia in June, I learned that the journey to the area, I had to survey which would be tougher than I thought it was. So I started working hard and ended up doing good.
