Very hilly, sometimes flat area that has many trees, shrubs, mosses, herbs, and ferns. Many plants cover the ground here. The effects of insolation include the greenhouse affect which traps the solar radiation in the earth's atmosphere by gases such as carbon dioxide. This is crucial for the trees in the Temperate Rain Forest.

Plant One :
Moss - These plants try to live close together so they can survive and reproduce more efficiently, because since they reproduce using spores instead of seeds staying close together is a great adaptation.
Plant Two:
Fern - The most notable adaptation made by ferns is the presence of a rhizome.
These Plants get about 100 inches of rain every year. So in this rain forest plants must adapt to the moist environment.
