I had looked through the three options for my work experience and i have decided on pre school sector.

Firstly i would want to Work as a pre school sector as I’m the type of person that loves children. I like seeing the smiles on their faces and hearing the laughter. I wish to be able to make learning fun and simpler for them. Secondly i want to be able to help and watch them grow to be good children. It’s nice to be part of their learning journey, being along side the children while they discover about the world here. Thirdly i think i would be capable to plan the best events and outings for everyone as i can plan activities for them base off my personal experience as a kid, being able to know what their generation would like.

Three skills and qualities that i will have to offer are patience , creativity and communication. I will have to be patient with the pre schoolers as their brain are still developing. This would be important to be able to understand their emotions and what they are needing. Furthermore, creativity would be crucial , it is to find ways to make learning fun for the pre schoolers and activities they would enjoy. Lastly would be communication skills, clear and friendly tone is key when interacting with children. as they are still learning , the grammar and vocab we use needs to be clear and simple.

This can benefit me as it can help me gain experience for the future if i really get to be a pre school teacher. And i can also use this programme for interviewing to be a pre school teacher. Moreover if i end up not liking this programme , i can change my mind anytime to not being a pre school teacher. Lastly, it can also improve my communication skills a lot better to use it for future scenarios.

As such, i hope you will consider my proposal. Please do provide me feedback if there is any. Thank you for your time to read my letter. I hope to receive a response.

Thank you.

Proposed by : Lai Yee Chen

To : Mr Lin
ECG counsellor , Northbrooks secondary school
From : Cadence 3 Discipline
Date : 28 August 2023
Application for the Education and Career Guidance programme

Dear Mr Lin,
I am Cadence from 3 Discipline, and I am writing this letter as it is regarding about my application for the ECG programme. Within the three options, I had chosen the pre-school sector.

Firstly, I would want to work in the pre-school sector as I am someone who loves and adores children. I enjoy having conversations with them as they have a very different perspective and mindset from us, and speaking to them helps me understand their point of view. Secondly, I also want to stay by their side and guide them to the right path as they slowly get older and smarter. And it would also be a fun process watching them grow and learn new things everyday when they go to kindergarten. Thirdly, if I am able to get the children to listen to me, it enhances my leadership skills as well. Helping me develop skills that are useful in whatever career path I choose in the future.

Three skills and qualities that I can offer are patience, communication and creativity. Firstly, having patience is very important as kindergarten children are still very young, they take time to process and understand things, and speaking to them with patience can make them understand better and also help build a good character in them. Secondly, communication is also very important, because if we don’t learn to communicate with the kindergarten children, we will always see and hear children crying and throwing tantrums as they don’t get what they want, and we don’t get what we want. Communication help us to understand what the other party wants or needs, so if we do communicate well with the kindergarten children, everyday will be peaceful, happy and fun as both the teacher and child will get what they want and also communicate well with each other. Thirdly, creativity is crucial as instead of having boring lessons in kindergarten schools, creativity can help make lessons more fun and interesting, enhancing the creativity skills of the children as well. (provide an example of your creativity.)

I feel that this can benefit me as it can help me enhance and develop skills that I don’t use very often.

With that, I hope that you will consider my application for this ECG programme as I do aspire to be a pre-school teacher, and if I am able to go for this programme, it would really help me gain knowledgeable and memorable experience. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely,
Cadence

I can also help the business out with my skills in art by designing window displays that can potentially catch a lot of peoples eyes, which could potentially attract more customers and maybe even positive media attention. Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to participate in the ECG Work Experience Programme. After careful consideration, I would like to apply for the preschool sector as it would benefit me the most out of the 3 options.

Watching them grow and learn new things everyday is also a fun process to go through. Thirdly, if I am able to get the children to listen to me, it enhances my leadership skills as well. Helping me develop skills that are useful in whatever career path I choose in the future.

Three skills and qualities that I can offer are patience, communication and creativity. Firstly, having patience (relate this point to the visual stimulus) is very important as kindergarten children are still very young, they take time to process and understand things, and speaking to them with patience can make them understand better and also help build a good character in them. Secondly, communication (relate this point to the visual stimulus) is also very important, because if we don’t learn to communicate with the kindergarten children, we will always see and hear children crying and throwing tantrums as they don’t get what they want, and we don’t get what we want. Communication help us to understand what the other party wants or needs, so if we do communicate well with the kindergarten children, everyday will be peaceful, happy and fun as both the teacher and child will get what they want and also communicate well with each other. Thirdly, creativity (relate this point to the visual stimulus) is crucial as instead of having normal lessons in kindergarten schools, creativity can help make lessons more fun and interesting, enhancing the creativity skills of the children as well. Like during playtime, they could think of new ways to entertain themselves instead of just playing the toys provided by the school.

I feel that this (what are you referring to here?) can benefit me as it can help me enhance and develop skills that I don’t use very often.

With that, I hope that you will consider my application for this ECG programme as I do aspire to be a pre-school teacher, and if I am able to go for this programme, it would really help me gain knowledgeable and memorable experience. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your favourable response.

Yours sincerely,
Cadence

One of the values that has been drilled into me since I could remember is compassion. As a young child, I never understood what my mother meant when she says that, 'having compassion is why people still choose to live in this cruel, cruel world.' When I was in primary three, I met Meredith who made me understand what my mother meant by that.

With classes being reshuffled every year, I got to meet new classmates and make new friends every year. This year was no different except that I was in a much more challenging environment this time, I was grouped into the class with all the smarter students and my mother believed that preparing for the Primary School Leaving Examinations was something that should be done years in advance and not the year of which is why the stakes were high. She had extremely high expectations of me. In school, I had to keep up with my classmates and be absolutely focused during lessons while juggling my junior prefect duties. When I went home, I would have to do homework and, the advance worksheets that my mother prepared for me which left me constantly exhausted.

The weighted assessments came and went and I managed to achieve a score of 83% on my English WA1. Although I was disappointed to not be the top scorer this time around, I was relieved to find out that I was in second place with my classmate, Amelia being the first and me being the runner up. This meant that I only had to surpass Amelia in the upcoming WA2 to satisfy my mother.

The first two weeks of term two went by and one of my classmates, Meredith, had been absent for the past two weeks. My form teacher, Mrs Leong, divulged that Meredith was hospitalized and would be returning back to school in week four. She entrusted us with the task of keeping track of her assignments for the next two weeks as well as help her adjust back into school when the time came since we were more focused as compared to the rest of our classmates. From then, Amelia and I diligently kept track of the topics and assignments that Meredith had missed out on and made a plan to go through it with her when she came back. We were also curious as to why she was in the hospital so we decided that we would try asking her about it when she returned back to school.

When Meredith returned to school, everyone was concerned for her as she looked weak and frail, her skin was paler than usual and her arms were scrawny and bruised. For the next few weeks, Amelia and I met up with Meredith after school to go through the topics that she had missed. We did try to slide in the question of why she was hospitalized a few times but she would get visibly uncomfortable when we did ask so we stopped. Mrs Leong approached Amelia and I and told us that Meredith was working hard and wanted to make her parents proud by way of topping the class in English which was her weakest subject so I decided that I was going to bring the advanced papers that my mother would make me do and share it with Meredith so that she could learn how to answer the tricky questions that may pop up in the exam but that didn't seem to work. Amelia and I came up with more ways to try to help Meredith but none of them worked. Although it did improve her English by a little, it wasn't enough and we were racing against time. So, Amelia and I hatched a plan.

The day of the English weighted assessment came and we set our plan in motion. We knew that Meredith was capable of scoring at least 75% which would put her in the third place, next to Amelia and I but Meredith's goal was to top the class so, Amelia and I decided that we would deliberately answer some questions wrongly in order to achieve a score between 60% and 70%. I knew that it would make my mother upset, angry even, to see my score drop from an 83% to a 60% but I felt that after what Meredith has been through, she deserved a victory, no matter how small the victory would be, she really needed it.

Then came the day we were all waiting for, when Ms Lim would finally announce the top scorers of the term. 'Congratulations, Meredith, you topped the class this term with a score of 76%! Amelia, 71% and Jasmine, 67%' After Ms Lim revealed the scores to us, we saw how happy Meredith was with topping the class. Although I had to face the music of my mother when I went home, I felt that it was worth it to see Meredith smile for the first time in a very long time. Throughout all of this, Meredith had no idea that Amelia and I were part of her success and we decided to keep it that way.

That day, I went home and showed my mother my results and explained to her why I scored less than expected. To my surprise, she smiled at me and told me that I did her proud. That I was able to demonstrate compassion. That was the moment I understood what my mother meant when she says that 'having compassion is why people still choose to live in this cruel, cruel world.'

(sorry ah vv long i very long winded one :))))) hehe)

Have you ever decided that it was more important to help someone else than follow your own goal? Well I have and that incident will forever to etched in my mind.

Today is finally the day of the marathon race that I have been preparing for months. I had only one goal in mind, which is to surpass my previous timing. I never would have thought that things would turn out differently.

When the race started, I kept calm and ran at my own pace with only one goal in mind, which is to run past the finish line and surpass my previous timing. However, after about a kilometre into the run, I noticed a man sitting at the side of the the road with a look of pain in his face. All the runners simply just stared at the man and continued on with their run, but I couldn’t bring myself to ignore him.

I slowed down my pace and approached him, with a concerned look on my face and asked “Are you okay?”. He replied”I sprained my ankle”. In that moment, I had to decide whether I should help him or continued on with the race. In the end, I chose to help him as I just couldn’t leave an injured man sitting on the side of the road. I than told the man to wait there while I rushed to the nearest medical station to seek help. The medical staff than arrived to the scene to perform first aid on the man.

Once I know that the man had the help he needed, I continued on with the race. When I reached the finish line, I wasn’t disappointed that I did not surpass my personal best time but I was rather proud at myself for helping a man.

In the end, what I leaned from the race is that helping another person in need is the most important goal.

Try: to bear fruit). I spent my whole morning having a panic attack and crying as my head was full of worries and my stomach filled with butterflies. But slowly, I convinced myself that I had spent so much time training and preparing for the competition, so what was there to worry about? Nothing could possibly go wrong right? And that, was where everything went wrong… and my dreams… gone…

My grandma and I were on the way to the stadium. While I was still getting all worried and scared for the competition, my grandma gave me a pep talk to chase all my worries away. All this time including the time while I was still training, my grandma has always been the one encouraging and cheering for me during my ups and downs, and because of this, I am very grateful for having a grandma like her, and the only way that I want to repay her was to win the competition and make her proud.

In a blink of an eye, we were already at the stadium when suddenly, I heard a loud thud, my grandma had fainted. For a second, I was stunned and flabbergasted, but it wasn’t the time or place to waste time doing nothing, I had to do something. I immediately called the ambulance, and in the nick of time, the ambulance arrived fast. They carried my grandma into the ambulance while I was contemplating whether I should go for the competition or to accompany my grandma. If I decide to accompany my grandma to the hospital, all my hard work that I have prepared for the competition have gone to waste, but if I decide to go for the competition, I wouldn’t be able to play properly as my mind will be filled with worries about my grandma. But at that time, I had to choose which was more important. And I decided that family comes first no matter what. So I accompanied my grandma to the hospital, and luckily, it was just a minor issue. (Nice use of inner dialogue to bring out the dilemma you faced)

Even though I didn’t manage to accomplish my goal, I don’t regret choosing my grandma over it because she is the reason why I decided to pursue my dreams.

To : ECG Counsellor (Format is still incorrect)

Dear Ms Lim,
I am Chloe from 3 Teamwork 2. It is a stable job travelling to great destinations, access to world-class amenities, free hotel rooms, exposure to people from all parts of the world, as well as great pay. (this information is not part of the visual stimulus and it also sounds more like a cabin crew job rather than a job in the hotel industry.)
I believe I will be a suitable candidate to this course as I believe I have some skills needed for hospitality such as communication and problem-solving skills. Communication is definitely important as hotel management and hospitality involves a lot of communication with many people from all over the world, . I think I have decent communication skills (Be confident yet polite and not showy at the same time) as I have entered different public speaking courses which helps as I will have no problem speaking to people. Communication involves the need to listening to people, noticing nonverbal cues, and practicing oral communication. Through activities I signed up for in school, I have been able to be able to understand<del>ing</del> these basic communication skills and know how and when to use them. I am also good with problem-solving as I am able to quickly think of solutions to counter any unexpected problems I may happen to face due to CCA related activities when we must always be flexible and make adjustments in case something unexpected happens and disrupts the course of the original plan. (Still requires a lot more relating and linking back to the visual stimulus).
Thank you for your time and I do hope you consider me a candidate to partake in the ECG Hospitality course. Once again thank you for the opportunity given to me, I look forward to your reply.

Yours sincerely,
Chloe

I had looked through the three options for my work experience and i have decided on pre school sector.

Firstly , I would want to work in a pre-school sector as i love spending time with children. I have younger siblings and cousins i would always read stories to them, whenever the adults are too busy and needs me to babysit the children for awhile. Therefore , i will be able to help supervise the children (which children are you referring to here?) at their play area too.

Secondly, i believe that the skills that i have gained throughout the years in school will come in handy in the pre-school sector. I was the Character and Citizenship Education leader(CCE) back in secondary school<del>,</del> and I have <del>I’ve </del>had many experiencing in organising events or activities for the class. And working together with the other CCE leaders had improved my ability to teamwork. This can help me support the Teachers (which teachers are you referring to here?) in organising events and activities for the pre schoolers.

Thirdly , I believe that creativity would be crucial , it is to find (expression) ways to make activities the pre-schoolers would enjoy and plan fun outings for them. As i said above, when the adults (which adults? confusing) are busy , i would be the on looking after their children , i even brought them out for outings planned by myself. I believe that i <del>would</del> have great ideas to plan (expression error, tone) for the pre-schoolers outings. Like bringing them out to plant tree seedlings around Singapore, this can be a fun and educational activity which can teach them the importance of trees. (sentence structure)

Lastly, This (what are you referring to?) can benefit me as it can help me gain experience for the future .But i wish this experience provided by the education and career guidance programme could set me on a clearer path to work in a pre-school sector in the future.

As such, i hope you will consider my proposal. Please do provide me feedback if there is any. Thank you for your time to read my letter. I hope to receive a favouraBLE response.

Yours faithfully ,
Lai Yee Chen
Class 3 INtegrity

Sometimes when I look back (why do you need to look back? Can we think of another way to start the story? My body ached begging for a break but with the dance competition in 3 days, I needed to give it my very best. This competition was extremely important as if I won, it would have helped me with my portfolio to enter my dream school SOTA or the School of The Arts. I was not going to give up this opportunity for anything and I was going to give it my all.

My group and I have been practicing for this competition for the last 3 months non-stop as the date drew closer practice became more intense. As. the music started playing again with the same song on repeat it never seemed to end. My body started moving it seemed to have a mind of its own. As the music ended and we all gathered together for dismissal. "Good job children, I'll see you in two days for our last practice before the big day! Don't forget to practice at home but also remember to take care of yourselves". Ms Lau said as she dismissed us.

Just like that 3 days flew by and it was the big day. I was getting ready to meet up with my group for the competition. I immediately dialled 911 to call for help however I would (punctuation) need to stay with Auntie Jane until the ambulance arrived to take over which meant I was most likely going to miss my competition. I knew it was the only thing I could do I sent a quick text to Ms Lau explaining the situation telling her they would have to go on without me.
The ambulance arrived within 20 minutes to take over as I explained the detail leading up to the present as they thanked me for the information they went off with Auntie Jane.

I decided to go to the hospital to visit Auntie Jane as she would have needed the emotional support more since she had no one by her side. And she had always cared for me as if I were her own it would be wrong of me to choose me competition over her. After a while in the hospital I was relieved to learn that Auntie Jane was doing well and was in recovery. Apart of me was still disappointed that I couldn't go to the competition even. though I practiced so hard for it, but I knew I did the right thing.

That day although I didn't manage to achieve my goal I was. still glad that I helped Auntie Jane instead which was an even greater reward to me knowing Auntie Jane is now healthy and doing well.

Time was fast , a week has passed by. I noticed the decrease in number of people that used to be here, they were all victims that tried to escape through the maze. I was told that in order to get out of here , you will have to go in the labyrinth with monsters lurking as you get closer to the exit. And the exit only opens in the morning then closes at night.

I missed everything outside, my family, my dog , the food. I wanted to get out no matter the risks , it was worth a try. I trained alot , ate alot and spent lots of time talking to people to gather more information about the labyrinth.

The grounds shook as the gates to the maze opened. I took my pocket knife and walked in with no regrets , this is the day I return. I started exploring the maze that feels like an eternity , I was halfway there. I encountered some monsters but I was smart enough to hide behind the dangling vines on the walls. I was so scared that my heartbeat felt louder than the growling sounds from the monsters.

Finally, the exit was just Infront of me. “I’m so close” I said with a glimmer of hope in my eyes. That’s when I heard a scream from not far behind but the sun was already setting, I looked Ahead and behind. I was in a dilemma “i can’t go back-“ until a voice faded in my mind ‘don’t’. I dashed to where the scream came from and immediately jumped in to help the girl who was struggling with a monster, unfolded my pocket knife and stabbed to right through the monsters right eye , it roared in pain and ran away.
I grabbed the girl’s hand and ran as fast as lightning to the exit, the ground was already shaking immensely as the gates were going to shut. It was only a gap between while the both of us quickly squeezed through it and bammm!!! It shutted an inch close to me.

I was panting heavily but relieved. “ why did you help me?” the girl turned to me ,her voice was shaking ,she looked a year younger than me which reminded me of my annoying little sister. “ because, I’m not a monster” I replied after a moment. This made me learn that helping someone halfway through your goal doesn’t stop you from achieving it.

To: ECG Counsellor
From: Leroy Chng

Dear ECG Counsellor, I am writing this letter to inform you of my choice for the Education and Career Guidance programme. I have decided that the Hospitality Industry would best suit my general personality. I would love to assist people in their issues at the hotel as it gives me a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Providing travel information would also provide more opportunities to communicate with customers and find links in common problems as well as major ones that may come that I can later prepare for before I enter the work force. I find that working at a desk job at the hotel would really benefit my own personal life as well, dragging up my social skills as well as pushing my mind when it comes to quick thinking to find solutions to customer problems. Another part of the Hospitality Industry is working at the restaurant which provides me an opportunity to interact with other staff and find out what general customer complaints are on a daily basis as well as tips. This will allow me to gain valuable skills at the restaurant on what the staff do that makes everything run like a well oiled machine which is crucial. This kind of experience can’t be gained outside of a work atmosphere. Assisting in the planning of major events will also give me more of an insight in what the most efficient way is to fully plan out an event at the best quality possible for the budget, something that is gained through years of experience and can’t be gained in days. I find that this industry would best benefit me and provide me a better chance at joining it in the future. I hope th

I love playing basketball! It is a sports that I have come to love and cherish ever since I joined secondary school. I’ve played basketball for a mere 3 years and my skills are quite decent.
Recently, Sahra and I have been training for the upcoming B division competition. Sahra is my senior and friend that I met through our co-curriculum activity which is basketball. We both played the power forward position as we are tall and big.

Everyday at 6pm we’ll meet at the neighbourhood basketball court and practice together. We would do countless amount of shooting at different ranges. We would help each other by giving tips and feedback on how to improve our footwork and ball handling. We put our blood, sweat and tears into this.

The day comes when our coach would choose the team members that would be playing in the competition. I have never felt so excited and nervous at the same time. We were at the school court and were told to tackle a bunch of obstacle courses to test our agility and footwork. Afterwards, we did a shuttle run to visualise how fast and good we are at pacing our endurance. All our efforts were made to good used in a day. After training at around 5pm we went to Northpoint and treated ourselves to some açai (why this?) and then went home to cleaned up after ourselves.

The results would be revealed the next day in the morning. I woke up with happy anticipation and checked my phone for the results. To my disbelief I couldn’t find Sahra’s name. It was her last year in secondary school. Despite getting what I wanted, I did not felt satisfied nor joy. I took it upon myself and had a conversation with my coach that morning. I asked for my position to be change to Sahra instead . Even though I was very thrilled with the positive results, I would be even more glad if Sahra gets to play. (Why did you want to help your friend? This is crucial to the plot. Please elaborate) He told me that we were similar in terms of our skills and quality and therefore, agreed to my demand. Though I agree I would love to play in the competition I think it would be better if we played alongside each other. I have another year to go so I do have another chance in the future.
I’m glad that my hard work payed off and that I’m proud of myself for making such a difficult decision. But it was out of the sincerity and value I had for our friendship so it doesn’t matter. Fast forward to a few months, I’m screaming my lungs out at the benchers. We had won all qualifying rounds and hence is at the finale. I supported through on through ever since.

I like the outdoors and camping, it’s the whole reason I joined Boys’ Brigade. Something about the outdoors just calls to me, pleading for me to just explore the endless amount of trees and little critters that live there. What made it better though was spending it with other friends in Boys’ Brigade last week.

My friend and I had all signed up for an optional camp that also doubled as a course to get a kayaking certificate. We signed up cause we thought it’d be nice for both of us tp go kayaking together if we’re ever bored on any day, but I mostly signed up cause my little sister, who’s 6, would always talk about how she wanted to go kayaking and it was my goal to surprise her by taking her. She would always describe the water in a way that made it sound more appealing than it actually is and I know she’d just be absolutely ecstatic when she I tell her I can take her out for kayaking… but something was gnawing away at me inside, a hunch that something bad is gonna happen but you have no idea when. My grandpa has been complaining of how he can’t breathe properly and how he has no energy to walk or just basically function, I didn’t want that to get me down though so I pushed that aside since I knew that this whole camp activity jig would keep my mind off things.

There was our teacher, Sir James. Though he didn’t like being called “Sir” my friend and I did just because he sounded cool and cause we kinda did it outta respect. He was directing other students from Boys’ Brigade where their “room” was and to settle down their camping items while handing us an activity roster that informs us of what we’re all gonna be doing over these next 3 days. I looked at the roster and it was mostly camping activities with kayaking at the very end by instructors from some other place, I’m not sure where.

We arrived at our room and walked in. It was nothing special, it was just an empty and mundane room and windows with a big bed in the middle and bathroom off to the side, that’s it. Once my friend and I unpacked our items, we rushed off for the first activity to not be late. Sir James basically demonstrated how to make a tent and we just had to follow. My friend and I were done in a good few minutes since we would always sign up for camps like this since both of us are people who like the outdoors, but when I looked over at the other students trying to make their tent it was quite the sight. It was like watching cavemen discover fire for the first time. Sir James wasn’t really happy but it was lunch anyway, so everyone kinda just ran off to eat the food they had all packed. Both of us just slinked off and away to our dorm and just ate lunch talking about the others tent building expertise and laughing to ourselves.

The next activity after lunch was just hiking up Bukit Timah Hill. My friend and I loved hiking and were excited about it so we just goofed around till it was time to go.
Sir James gathered us all around and blabbed on about safety while I dozed off. Once it was time we just followed behind Sir James, everyone was talking and laughing, and it just filled me with joy seeing everyone happy and enjoying everything going on. The hike up was exhausting and even more back on the way down and you could tell it sucked the life out of everyone, plus, it 6:30 was and the sun was still hot. Once we all got back everyone looked as dead as zombies and slowly wandered off to their dorm including us.

Just as I sat down on our bed in our dorm to rest, my phone rang. I could feel it buzzing in my pocket and vibrating while my dead hands slowly trickle up to my pant leg to navigate to my pocket. Once I did pickup the phone, I heard my mom say that the doctors know why he (who?) was having chest pains and that he’s on medication to help him, it was a relief to hear that. While talking to my mom, I pulled the activity roster lying on the bed into my hand.
It was just gonna (avoid) be about the same dull activities. Tomorrow we gotta do first aid training as a refresher to our already established knowledge, biking then kayaking, the last day is mostly the same. Tying strings to refresh our knowledge, sitting by the campfire then kayaking.

The 2nd day was mostly a blur, I was daydreaming through everything that Sir James said and I basically turned off my brain just to make time feel like it’s going by faster. Before I knew it, it was time to kayak. All we had to do was just put on a life vest, get a kayak, get in and just float in the water. The instructor on the 2nd day was explaining what to do when the kayak capsizes, I wasn’t really paying attention cause I was just staring at the water, watching as it reflects the setting sun off the water just watching the rays of the sun dance all around the water in such a beautiful way. “She’d love this” I thought to myself.

After we got back on land and put our equipment and kayak back, all of us walked back to our individual dorms and I fell asleep instantly when I fell face first onto the bed. On the last day in the morning, I looked at my phone and saw messages and calls from my mom. As an older brother, my heart dropped at what I read.
“Your sister got bit by a dog and had a fit, she’s in the hospital and being monitored by doctors.”

I was panicking. I asked my mom to pick me up so I can see her. I looked like I had gone mad form the way I was packing and scrambling to get everything together, it was as if a tornado or something was approaching and I was trying to get to safety. I saw Sir James preparing the first activity of the day and ran up to him babbling what must’ve sounded like gibberish to him and I’m sure all he heard was “sister” and “hospital” and got a form that allows me to leave early. I was outside waiting for my mom to pick me up and when she arrived I rushed into her car and was just silently panicking in the backseat. My mom was trying to make me feel better while she was driving by telling me how the doctors were looking after her. When we got to the hospital we checked in and then I was just walking in silence with my mom to my sisters hospital room, we walked in and I saw her lying in the bed. She was fine. She was just happily watchin videos on moms phone and I couldn’t be more relieved. Still, I stayed by her side for a long time. I didn’t qualify for the kayaking since I left on the last day and you need to attend all 3 days to get it, so I guess I ain’t reaching my goal this week, but at least my little sister is fine.
