A DUA PROJECT

Our students were SO excited about exchanging their ideas with their partners ! Let's use March 8th as an opportunity to reflect on gender issues and how we, as individuals and society, have evolved over time. What better reflects society, our thoughts, and feelings than music, which has always accompanied humanity? From traditional to modern music, songs with their lyrics reflect the evolution in global thinking. Many voices rise to create debate on how the role of women and relationships have evolved, with what was once acceptable no longer being so. We propose working on oral mediation and conducting a small analysis by reading articles, such as the ones previously mentioned in class, and others they may find on the internet both in Spanish and English about this issue . Then, they were invited to express their opinions in English, whether in video, audio, or a short essay using applications like Padlet, Vocaroo, or PDF. Here you can see the result, hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Esta actividad nos ha permitido reflexionar sobre la importancia de la colaboración en Escuelas Amigas. Se ha reforzado la creatividad en destrezas de producción escrita. Al participar en esta actividad, los alumnos recuerdan que la escritura tiene una finalidad y puede generar un impacto en quien la lee, independientemente del nivel de alemán del alumno/creador. También favorece las habilidades interpersonales y el vínculo afectivo entre los participantes en la clase, que observan las obras y realizan la lectura de las poesías de los alumnos de la escuela asociada, EOI Monforte de Lemos, lo que redunda en una mayor dinamización de la clase como grupo y aumenta el compromiso del alumno con el curso en general.
