One example of this is when Krystal gets into a heated argument with Patina, and Krystal insults Patina's godparents. The dialogue in the scene portrays how Patina cares about how people talk about the people she cares about.

Another example of this is when she talks to Maddy in basically any situation, as she is always softer towards Maddy because of the fact that Patina feels that she is responsible for Maddy.

For example, in the introduction of the story where she gets 2nd place in the race and admits that she hates losing.

She is always seen in a more fragile state around family than when around friends. For example, when she finds out that Momly and Maddy have gotten into a car accident, she immediately breaks down and is shown in an emotional state. However, around Ghost and her other track mates, she is in a calm and collected state.

Some examples are when Patina argues with Krystal and is very clearly aggravated by Krystal's remarks.

She experiences sadness when she learns that Momly and Maddy have been in a car accident.
