I think the clip shows a situation that could happen in a real life classroom, due to students over energized or/and the lack of teaching strategies to deal with large groups.

A real teacher could use attention getters in order to keep students focused on the tasks they need to do, and to maintain a calm-controlled class. The teacher could implement brain-breaks like seat-running for children or "when I say… you say…" for adolescents and adults.
To prevent a situation like this the teacher needs to keep checking for the students attitude towards the class, and when they start dozing off or when it is difficult to understand the instructions. A game outside the classroom would be a good option to relax the students and keep their minds occupied.

1.In some parts if it shows it, such as students repeating a certain word all together or if someone says something funny, especially when they are minors and have a good relationship for a long time. The part when they destroy the class I see it unreal, but it is understood because they are caricatures, it may be that the students lose order, but they will not hit the teacher or spit balls at him, they will simply make noise or stop paying attention to him.

2.I think not, the class can get out of control, but it will not make the children make a mess and hurt the teacher, maybe a student or a ball of students if it can make disorder, but not always everyone follows it. It could be a real situation, but not entirely, it's a cartoon, therefore there are fictitious things that get out of control, for example, throwing scissors and compass at the classmates, or throwing pieces of paper with saliva at the teacher. What is real is the disorder that can exist in a classroom, such as noise, students not paying attention, etc.
2. The class must be designed for the age of the students, which in this case are children, that is why it must have dynamic activities, such as games, teamwork, songs, etc. If the class only has grammar topics, or simply fails to capture the attention of the students, it is very likely that the class can become a mess, since the students will start to get bored and make a mess. Maybe not to the point of hurting the teacher or his classmates, but they will stop paying attention to the class.

It seems to me that this is a situation that could easily occur, although it seems a bit exaggerated (or maybe not). One way I can think of that could trigger such a situation is to be an absent teacher, and not just in a physical way. If students notice that their teacher is not making an effort to keep them in line, they might take it as an opportunity and do as they please.

One thing a teacher could do is to analyze the students and create an activity that suits their needs; the class in the example being a very active one, an activity can be done to help calm them down so that the class can be well paced. It is the teacher's responsibility to keep the attitude of the students in accordance with what is planned to be taught.

The video does show a situation that can occur in real life.
Situations like this one happen when the teacher does not begin the class by setting rules that need to be followed throughout the lesson, it allows the students to disrespect him/her. There are plenty of reasons, another one I consider essential is the teacher's preparation for teaching, if the teacher have not been prepared for teaching, how to control them, teach them, have order inside the classroom, be respected, and catch students' attention will be extremely difficult.
When a teacher treats his/her students as his/her equal, and acts all chill, the teacher is not taken seriously by her/his students.
To prevent and deal with this kind of situations it is important to know that disruptive behavior is often caused by stress or frustration, thus, it needs to be stopped before starts being worst as I could see in the video.
The teacher must set limits at the beginning of the class, include students' interest in the activities, motivate them when working, for instance, can include some warm ups, activity fillers, etc,. and finally, include plan B for the activities.
When dealing with this situations the teacher must act firm, calm and neutral, he/she must make eye contact with the domineering students, avoid confrontations with the students, and always keep students busy with activities.

1. I think the video shows a real situation in class, but it is a bit exaggerated. I have never seen or heard that children in a classroom like the one shown in the video come to that.

2. Because there is no classroom control or sufficient teacher authority to prevent these situations in the classroom.

I think this situation could possible happend in a real class, but at the same time i think it´s a little bit exagerated, because obviously it´s a cartoon, but in a real life situation it would be a little different and similar. Students not paying attention, playing, talking, doing other things that it´s not about the class.
I think this could happen when you are teaching kids, maybe they are talking with their friends, their bored or playing with something, but at the same time it would be different like the cartoon, less destructive.
One of the things that it could help teachers, it´s having a class "trouble breaker" or simply to calm down all. Maybe to prevent this kind of situation it could be trying to calm down the class at the first trouble or distraction.

I think this situation can happen in real life, the video is exaggerated but there are some very loud classes, where students don’t pay attention and are being very disruptive.
I think a class can turn into this due to the teacher not having control and not implementing the correct strategies, especially with young children, because they have a lot of energy, so you have to plan a class according to their needs.
A real teacher could implement strategies according to the class, in this case the students being children, he could implement attention getters or in this case brain breaks to let the students let out their energy and keep them focused during the class.

Yes, the clip definitely shows a real life classroom situation, as I’ve seen that kind of situation happen when I was in school many times and I am quite familiar with those attitudes. I think the reasons for why a class could turn into what was seen in the video are lack of confidence, lack of classroom control skills, and not being prepared enough for giving a class to real students.
Mr. Flanders was just "trying" being a teacher, but what could a real teacher do to deal with a classroom situation like this? How could a teacher prevent this kind of situations to arise?
I believe a real teacher could deal with a situation like that, or prevent them, by knowing how to act, how to adapt to the type of students, and what kind of proper control techniques he can use in the classroom. A real teacher would be able to prevent this kind of situations by first reading about the students’ needs before teaching the class, so that he knows their background and the why’s of certain students behaving in some ways, researching about classroom management, and applying that knowledge according to the group profile to tackle core problems or misbehavior once he is teaching.

Just as the rest of my classmates have already said, I consider that the situation is obviously exaggerated but this sort of chaos can and will exist sometimes.
This can happen, for example, when the students aren't interested in the class, when the teacher isn't taken seriously, or when the class isn't properly designed for them.
In order to get their attention and to get them to be appropriately involved in the class the teacher could start using attention getters, as well as warm up activities to get them interested from the beginning.
The teacher could prevent these situations by creating activities, using materials or implementing strategies according to the students' needs, ages and learning styles in order to help them channel their energy properly.

I think this video totally presents a real life situation, but of course with some exaggeration. However, I lived something like this as a student and it was terrifying, I was frustrated, and I remember thinking what I would have done different if I was the teacher.
This kind of situations occur when there is a lack of authority, experience, and classroom management skills of the teacher.
I think in real life a teacher could try to gain students' interest with something related with their ages. Then, the teacher should show authority and respect towards the students, we don't want the learners to fear us, but to be polite with everyone in the classroom and create a positive atmosphere. Maybe, establishing some agreements with them could work.

I think is a real situation in classroom happens everyday in the world, sometimes the kids they don´t take well the arrival of a new teacher in their classroom, and they do the impossible so that the teacher abdicates from teaching in that classroom, creating this type of chaotic situation, so that the teacher becomes desperate and resigns, it is very common, I myself experience it in my observation with small children too and it is really frustrating, what you should do as a teacher in this situation is to show patience and perseverance and try to emphatize with the students and find a way to connect that brings them closer.

I think this is something that could be a real life situation, mostly because sometimes students tend to misbehave when a substitute comes in.
Why do you think a class could turn into this?
Fist off, Mr. Flanders tried to teach the students the same way he has raised his children(I am speaking from what I have observed of him in the show) and dare I say treat them as friends/pals too which is incorrect when teaching. Mr.Flanders failed to correct the students right when they started misbehaving, , thus leading to a bigger chaos in the classroom to the point where the students wouldn't listen to him and he no longer had control over them.
Mr. Flanders was just "trying" being a teacher, but what could a real teacher do to deal with a classroom situation like this?
Starting with a warm up or an attention getter activity would help the teacher out a lot, mostly if the majority of the students are energetic. Doing an active activity that is fun and simple do would be the best choice,not only that but it might also allow him to get the control and respect he should have gotten when coming in.
How could a teacher prevent this kind of situations to arise?
Try preventing disruption and control most of the students. If a student or a few are still misbehaving than maybe separating them , calling for their attention every now and them or simply talking to the students calmly one on one and asking if there is something he needs help with or something he doesn’t understand because sometimes if a students doesn’t understand an activity he might not participate and they might end up distracting others, if the activity is too difficult for the student try a different activity he could do.

1.- Well I think that they may be exaggerated with the behavior, but it could be a real situation, where the teacher can't manage the class because is not enable to do it.
A class may be a disaster if the teacher won't have qualities such as character and responsibility.
2.-Well the teacher must have authority inside the classroom, so guess if "I can do it" it's a mistake because being a teacher needs preparation, so if a teacher has enough knowledge of course could deal with a class like that implementing attention-getting, and the teacher must be prepared to face all kind of situation so YES.

Like most of my classmates, I think the situation is exaggerated, well if there could be a disaster in the class but I think it could be controlled one way or another.
This happens when students are not motivated in class, do not show interest, among other factors.

1) I believe that according to this video it is clear that it could be a real situation, except for certain details that we know would not happen in real life and that exaggerate the situation due to the fact that it is a cartoon, such as the excessive aggression of throwing scissors classmates or dangerous activities towards others, but the real part is how the environment unfolds in a classroom, such as noise, lack of control, restless children who do not pay attention, among others.
2) It is necessary that the class is designed based on the needs of the students, when we deal with children it is better to plan dynamic classes which include games, entertaining videos, team or partner work and simple explanations, because if the classes become tedious or boring is normal for a child to lose interest and start to get distracted and distract other classmates, so it is necessary to keep them entertained and busy.
3) The most appropriate thing would be to create activities that are entertaining for the students, as I mentioned before, activities that keep them busy in a fun way, such as playing games, doing team dynamics or the whole room, among others with the aim of keeping them focused on learning. In a fun way, something we can also do is use auditory and visual material to improve the experience of the students.

1. I think the situation in the clip is very drastic but I believe that there are difficult students or a whole group that is undisciplined. In my opinion, it could turn into that because of the lack of rules and boundaries in the classroom, it could also happen if the students feel threatened or attacked in some way and in consequence they react in a violent way.

2. To me, something basic to try to handle any situation is communication. I think it should start there and ask the students directly why they behave the way they do, what they need to be more peaceful or how they can respect each other and the teacher; set rules that they agree with and explain that the teacher is not an enemy but someone who seeks to help them in their learning and there is no need to be on the defensive.

1.Yes, this is a very common situation in a classroom, and I think it has nothing to do with the feelings or way of being of the teacher (weak or any other characteristic) but rather because of the lack of rules from the beginning of a grade/course .
