This tool was released in November and combines the power of tools like WeVideo and Screencastify. This free tool is available to all Dartmouth teachers and students.


This tool is so new that I have not had the opportunity to create my own training resources yet. For this reason, the December PD will look a bit different than some of the other campaigns I will run this year.


To earn 3 PDPs for the month of December, you must complete the following tasks:

  1. Review the training resources featured on this Padlet. I have included resources to help you learn Google Vids, in addition to information on Flipped Classrooms and using the new Google Classroom feature that allows you to create interactive questions for YouTube videos.

  2. Create a short video for teachers that demonstrates one of the following:

    1. How you will useGoogle Vids in your classroom (application)

    2. A flipped lesson you plan to use with students

  3. Using Google Vids, record a 2-3 minute reflection on this PD and your future intentions for use with this tool.
