There is a lot of productive struggle to decide what comes next, what isn't working, how to include everyone's ideas, etc. In professional development, we read an article about how a good classroom would look like a studio setting where students create, give feedback to peers, analyze, etc. That is exactly what the dance education classroom has always been. I've been using UDI for a very long time. It works for my subject.
