We have begun our 3-D shapes unit in the classroom. This week students have been bringing items from the home to share during our circle time. We identified these shapes together and passed them around to students.  

Now that Spring break has begun. I challenge you to continue the fun at home. Help your child "hunt" at home or out running errands for 3-D shapes and share a picture with the class here on the blog! I know we are all looking for fun ways to learn at home. Now that the weather is improving, one great way to work on letter recognition and formation is sidewalk chalk. Grab some sidewalk chalk and hit the streets with your kiddo. Challenge them to write all the letters and words that they know. They can draw pictures and label them too!
