There are six of us in the family: my mom, dad, little brother, nanay, and tito. At home, we have a rule that everyone should be present during mealtime. I always watch my Chinese Dramas on Netflix. I am currently watching Everyone Loves Me starring Lin Yi and Zhou Ye. I am also getting myself into watching KDramas. Not only do I watch Dramas but I also watch movies like 20th Century, Enola Holmes, etc. I am a cartoon and romance lover girly.

When I watch Thai dramas, I always turn to YouTube. My favorite Thai drama is "Blacklist," and thanks to that show, I've discovered even more Thai dramas to enjoy. All the episodes are available on the platform. YouTube is also my go-to app for watching K-pop variety shows. Additionally, it has helped me learn my subjects better. By watching lessons on YouTube, I can understand the material more clearly.

TikTok is the app where you can find everything you need. All the genres you're looking for are available there. If you want to cry, you can watch some sad videos, if you want to laugh, you can enjoy funny videos. This app can even provide information about what is happening in today's society, whether it is true or not. The app has become my comfort zone because many of the videos on my FYP are ones I can relate to. Sometimes, my FYP is filled with KPop videos, which makes me happy. When I'm feeling down, I can watch their concert clips and listen to their songs, and it makes my problems go away. Sometimes I limit myself from opening the app because it distracts me from completing my tasks at home and school.

Reading Books

I always read books during my free time. I typically read online since I have a limited number of physical books at home. The only physical books I have are the Harry Potter series and the Dork Diaries. I often re-read my Harry Potter books because I love the entire Wizarding World. I also read on my phone using the Wattpad app, where most of the stories I enjoy are by Filipino authors. My favorite book that I have read is "Taming the Waves." If you want to cry, you should read this book. This book holds a special place in my heart.

Listening to Music

I always listen to music, even when I fall asleep. Most of the songs I enjoy are by Seventeen. The songs are made by our great producer Woozi (Wooahae). I listen to their songs whether I’m feeling sad, happy, bored, or just want to party. My preferred music genres include love songs, sad songs, and OPM. I always have a pair of earphones in my bag wherever I go, especially on road trips or going out of town. Listening to music while sitting on the beach during vacation is so refreshing and peaceful.

My home, my happiness, my safe place. Whenever I feel sad and as if the world is against me, I always turn to my home, SEVENTEEN. They bring so much liveliness and positivity to my life that I often forget my problems. I am truly grateful to have known them. Their music gives me a reason to continue living in this world; they are the reason I survive. I always enjoy watching their variety show, GOING SEVENTEEN, on YouTube, which brings me so much joy and laughter.. Even though some of the members are going to enlist, I will continue to support them until they’re all together again—OT13 for life! ENHYPEN is why I entered the KPop world—they were my first home. Even though I stan many groups, I always find myself going back to them. Their music is like a comfort to my ears. I started stanning them during their Manifesto Tour and eagerly tried to get a ticket to their concert, even though I was not allowed to go. Seeing them in person is my ultimate dream. They bring me so much joy, especially watching their variety show, EN O'clock on YouTube. I am grateful that they introduced me to K-pop and will always appreciate that. Nowadays, the use of social media is a great help to the society. It is used in school, offices, hospitals, business establishments and many more. In the entertainment industry it is evident through funny videos, cartoons, and memes. Social media is everywhere, it also informsus about global events. Almost everyone knows how to use social media as we can easily access it through our smartphones. It makes us updated with our loved ones working abroad. It is like social media is a part of my daily life. I love using social media from studying, watching movies in netflix, listening to music on Spotify, reading stories on Wattpad, and watching shows like GOING SEVENTEEN and EN O'Clock on YouTube. Having social media allows me to easy access in almost everything. It is really a big help in my everyday life. However, I realized that spending too much time on social media can lead to procrastination and distractions, which sometimes affect my academic and personal responsibilities. My excessive media use often makes me feel disconnected from my responsibilities as a student and daughter, which I always regret. I realize that this habit distracts my time management. Now, although it is hard, I am trying to create a balance between using my phone and doing my duties at home and at school. To stay on track, I’m setting boundaries for myself, such as limiting the time spent on certain platforms and focus more on productive content that helps to my learning and personal growth. Social media can be a great source of relaxation, but I am also aware that it is important to manage my time wisely for me to be able to achieve my goal in life and that is to finish my studies and be a nurse someday.
