 In this assignment, I analyzed a novel using evidence to back up my claims. I had a lot of fun using what I know and how I relate to the book to write an essay about how being in different communities is an important aspect in life that will help you survive. I learned more about the prompt, and how everything has meaning and a lesson, just like the novel did. I am proud of how hard I worked on this and the grade I earned. I revised this essay multiple times and made a lot of changes. If I hadn’t, I think that my grade wouldn’t be as great as it is now.

Once Finishing the book we had to make a padlet just like this one. And we were told to make something like a family tree but it showed connections in the book. We uses visuals such as faces, Shapes and even colors. On a scale of 1 to 10 about this being my best work. I would scale this as a 8.

I wish that I could have done the original assignment that is done on paper if we were on campus, because there is a lot more art that goes into it. Sociograms are used at first to help us to be able to understand the relationships among characters.  And so, when reading the book "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian," we were to compare relation ships among characters. Over the years I learned many ways of learning how to compare characters and learn their relationship with one another, but I never really understood how to do it, and how to do it efficiently. But after learning how to make a sociogram, and how to update it every now and then, I feel like learning how to make a sociogram actually benefits me in the future. I thought that this claim could be compared with the book because, the connections that Jr has aren't giving him an advantage but for some people like Gordy in the book they have some connections that give them an advantage.

At first I thought that we had to make a small chart at first because I only went off of the example, but I was blind and didn't see the rubric right next to it. After wards when I read the instructions It was easy going. It was easy doing the main characters friends because he was around them more than the others, but when it came to the other ones it became difficult. It took me a bit but I found the quotes and put them together to make a nice padlet.
