         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Patchwork Bike is an uplifting book about two siblings making the most out of what they were giving.  The picture book, is very motivating to keep a positive mind-frame and work with what you are given. This book is not lengthy at all, the target audience would be 3rd- 4th grade. The text within the story is there to teach a story, an activity that best aligns with the content would be to have students create a story using a limited word bank.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A Big Mooncake for Little Star   is a beautiful story of a young girl doing the opposite of her mothers directions. By sneaking after hours into the kitchen to eat a mooncake that wasn't to be touched. The author uses this book to display a lesson to young children to never be mischievous because what's done in the dark will always come to the light. This text is meant to target an audience of children in kindergarten to 2nd grade. The large pictures and shallow word usage students of this age group are capable of grasping the lesson quickly. An activity with this book along with classroom expectations would be great for students!</div>]]></description>

The author through words and pictures demonstrates a confusing story to some, but a story of what being a good person is all about. This book is meant for students grades kindergarten- 2nd grade. A great vocabulary activity would align great with this, for students to learn new vocabulary as well as kind words.</div>]]></description>
