Some months ago, I had a biology class at the laboratory and we had to open a frog. When I saw the animal on the table, I started feeling nervous and I felt like I was going to faint. My teacher noticed what I was going through, approached me and said, "It's ok to feel nervous. Stick with me and I show you how to proceed". After that, I did it correctly and I stopped feeling nervous and I got ok.

I have a good friend who had a dream: to get his driver's license. However, He was having difficulties and was desperate, as his test was scheduled.

So, I decided to help him with that and I called him and said: "stick with me and I will teach you the tricks". I trained him for a few days and on the day of the test, he was very nervous, but he managed to complete the route and passed the test. Then he gave me a nice gift to thank me and everytime we meet, he always remembers this story...

When I was a kid, I had to change school more than once because of my difficulties to get close to other students and to make friends with them. It was hard for me to talk to the other kids, specially when they, well, don't like you in return. It was tough, but one day my mother decided to replace me to one more school, Centrinho, where I finally found some people to stick with, not just because they were good people, but also because they had the same difficulties as mine to talk to other people. In the end, we worked together to face our communication problem and now those same kids are my friends until today.

When I was a child my friend and I had a serious problem at school. There was a guy named Brad, who was a very big fella. He had long red hair, blue eyes and his face was like a moon, because there were a lot of craters on that. Brad was a bad guy, he was eleven years old, but my friends and I were seven. He used to take our sandwiches and spanked us. We always went home crying. So once, a hero apperead. A strange guy, that we never had seen before. He was Brad's same age. He saw what Brad had done to us. Then, he told us. "Don't worry, stick with me and I will protect you". So, from that moment on, Brad never did anything to us again. That son of a Brad!

I learn something new every day like new program languages or new features. I need to stay updated on every new trend.

I have a friend called Bruno, and he is a very special person for me. He is a Portuguese teacher and the most intelligent person I know. Throughout the time we worked together, I had the chance to stick with him and learn lots of interesting things about Music, Literature, Politics, Language and Arts. He helped me to have a different kind of view about people and life. He always encouraged me to study and be a better person and the best professional I could. So, the moral of the story is stick with people who stimulate you to be the best version of yourself.

The first court hearing I had as a lawyer I was very insecure. My boss always took me to watch the court hearings while I was a trainee there. But the first time I did that as a lawyer made me very nervous and I couldn't sleep the previous night. However I tried and remembered all the times that I could stick with him, took a deep breath and every thing got ok and I wasn't nervous anymore.

My girlfriend is not going through a good moment. At school, despite having completed the 3rd year of high school, she will have to study another year there, as there are some outstanding issues. I was talking to a friend and I realized how much things have changed since I moved from my home country to one abroad. Sure there is the cultural shock but that was not my main concern, it was friendship though. Those I once called friends were not that often in my life like they used to be. Don't get me wrong, everybody has their own life to take care of but when you bring someone to be part of your life you expect the person to follow suit. But at least, I must say that, that was good because it showed me the real people, I mean those I really need to stick with.
