Things changed when we moved to Cebu. I found friendship, I thought that I could never have. I found my circle of friends who I can really rely on and trust. Despite the bad experiences, I got through I never thought the some people would really get over to that walls you built to give you the love and friendship you where seeking. The things that I am really proud and lucky to have. The love from your family and friendship really helped me mold the better and stronger me.

My family, we are just like other families. I can say that we are in the standard of economic challenge. We used to have the things we wanted, my mother where somewhat didn't have any problems financially before. Unfortunately, what we used to have before has changed.

We have a normal size of a family. I have three brothers; sadly, our youngest died. My father, John Welben Engaling, is a worker at a JMPR company here in Toledo City. Mareluz Base Engaling, my mother is a full time house wife. Me and my two brothers are all students. Basically saying that the income in our family can't sustain all of our needs, especially the only source of our income comes from my father. To help my parents, I enrolled in a University where they won't have to pay my tuition and I applied in some private scholar. Luckily I got accepted. My older brother goes to school where he is also a scholar. That is the only way to help both of our parents financially and to somewhat lessen the burden.

Despite all the difficulties we are going through, we still know how to appreciate everything we have, the food, what is served to eat and share with each other. It greatly impacts me as a person when things get hard for us. I learn to appreciate every little thing. It is true that life in a province is hard, yet learning how to appreciate precious things, especially love and life, will lead you to a joyful life.

The two dogs that you can see in the photo above are both mixed breeds: a labrador and a doberman. We got the first brown dog name, zengkie. We have him since 2020. And the second one is laxus, 2021. Started the day they came into our lives, they now are one of the source of our joyment; our stress reliever; the sweetest, smartest and playful dog I ever met. Even though life was hard for us, we still managed to have these two dogs. The best decision we ever made was to have these two precious dogs with us. The best gift.
