Rancho AME/AED:

1) Specific directions/information when available. We are ready to go.

2) TBD- when we receive more information we will determine what we need. Regardless we will need a lot of time to work individually and with our counter parts in the cluster.

Health Science and Med Tech -

1) Why is personal services in this? It does not seem to fit.

Will we need to rewriite our courses using the new CTE standards? If so, will we be paid to do so?

2) We may need to revisit/revamp Intro to Health Careers and/or CTE Medical Mentorship. Chloe wrote course called Medical Seminar Honors. We will need additional training and PD. Collaboration time to meet as a teaching group.

For Education Cluster:

1) Comment: Within the cluster, we are seeing a wide range of jobs. You can't hold an administration position until you are first a teacher.

2) Comment: We feel Education Administration and Leadership and Teaching/Training and Facilitation should be combined. In addition, Education Administration should be removed for individuals cannot reach this level until they have first had teaching experience.

3) Support: We would like PD to practice working with the new standards so we know how we can implement within our classrooms.

4) Question: Will we need to re-write curriculum to match the new standards or will we be able to "rename" where applicable?

1) What role will the cross-cutting clusters play in our CTE courses?

2) Once a draft form is available, time will be needed to work on updating/modernizing course sequences and curriculum and finding ways to incorporate cross-cutting clusters

How do these clusters affect our current pathways and day to day teaching?

At the moment it only seems like a name change and we are going to continue doing everything how we are currently doing it? If so we don't need anything.

The current updates on the standard are already things we are doing

Keep us updated as they send out more details on how this will affect classes.

Film Production: We will need to rewrite the curriculum pathway. Including more film production, social media, live streaming. Combine design and film production/media production. Also including documentary filmmaking and social media.

Curriculum name change for Carpentry classes is needed. Counselors and students are often confused with class and sequence. We want to complete this so we are grandfathered in.

2) Will this provide a better foundation for staff and students and will it provide a smoother transition into the work force for the students
