All users can locate and edit a check-in code from the mobile app following the guidance below.

1. Log in to brightwheel on the mobile app

2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left hand corner and select Edit profile

3. Scroll down to locate your Check-In Code and tap it

4. Input a new 4-digit check-in code in the popup
   🚩 If your code matches that of another staff or parent, a warning message will be shown, you can still save and use that code but it is not recommended

5. Tap Set Code

• Please upload (and print if possible) all forms to Brightwheel as soon as possible.

• You will find the medical form, a form for contact details, and an emergency authorization. Please fill out these forms by your first day of school or we will not be able to accept your child. 

  
  

Supplies (please label):

• Inside shoes (crocs or similar comfortable shoes without laces; your child should be able to put them on on his/her own)

• Your child's "Doudou" (Lovey) or an object that reminds them of you/home to help them separate on their first day of school. No toys at school please.

• Two full sets of a change of clothes in a labeled Ziploc bag

• Summer Hats & Sunscreen. Bug spray unless you agree to use our own school supply (see over the counter form on brightwheel).

• A blanket if your child is napping at school ( and diapers if needed) 

• Lunch in a labeled container 

• 1 Fruit to share for snack times, unpeeled and uncut.

• All small fruits like grapes or blueberries but also cherry tomatoes must be pre-cut or will not be served (chocking hazard).

• Please no nuts, no peanut butter, no almonds, etc… we are a nut-free school. 

• No Juice and no popcorn 🙏.

• Fever within the past 24-36 hours (temperature over 100.4° Fahrenheit (F) or 38° Celsius (C) )

• Vomiting within the past 24-36 hours

• Coughing

• Excessive runny nose/sneezing

• Sore throat

• Diarrhea

• Draining rash or wound

• Eye discharge or pink eye

• Fatigue that prevents participation in regular activities

• Open wounds, unless properly covered

• Lice and scabies

Parents of children who come to the Camp sick or become ill during the day will be contacted to come and pick them up.

Before returning to the Camp children must be free of fever and symptoms for at least 24 hours without the use of medication.

Children can be readmitted after medical diagnosis to rule out bacterial or viral infection or after 24 hours have passed since starting antibiotic treatment with a note from a medical practitioner.

Sorbet is a yummy, cold treat made from real fruits. It’s sweet, colorful, and perfect for a hot day. We will use fresh fruits, and we’ll get to touch them, smell them, and even taste them!

First, we will look at our fruits and talk about their colors and shapes. Then, we will help mix everything together to make our delicious sorbet. After that, we’ll wait a little bit while it gets nice and cold… and then comes the best part—we get to eat it!

We will watch the apples change as they become soft, smell their sweet aroma, and finally taste our homemade applesauce together. Yum!

We will be visiting La Boîte en Bois, a restaurant owned by Luciano’s grandfather, one of our students to discover how desserts are prepared in a professional kitchen. The children will have the opportunity to observe, ask questions, and learn more about the different steps involved in creating sweet treats.

This special visit will help connect our classroom experiences to the real world while encouraging curiosity, language development, and an appreciation for cooking and baking. We look forward to this exciting adventure and to learning from the experts!
