All translators feel pressure from their readers and reach interpretations in conversations with others. Just like when Alexander Pope translated Homer’s Iliad, utilizing Greek commentaries, English, Latin, French translations, and dictionaries, translators draw from multiple source texts. A translator’s linguistic knowledge comes from interactions with other writings and dialogues, and the goal of translation is influenced by the expectations of the audience. Therefore, all translations are, in a way, crowd translations.

3. In the end, all translations become crowd translations.

4. I chose this passage because my dream is to become a translator. I believe that using various translations from different languages will be helpful if I pursue a career in translation in the future.

Also Translation is not simply the task of converting one language into another; it plays an important role in various aspects.

1. Cultural Understanding and Communication

Translators and interpreters can facilitate effective cross-cultural communication by demonstrating an understanding of various cultural groups.

2. Accuracy in Translation

Human translators are able to recognize cultural and contextual nuances, identify and translate slang, and understand dialects of different languages. They can also offer better alternatives for content that does not translate easily.

3. Conveying the Meaning of the Original Text

In the case of audiovisual translation, it is important to ensure that the meaning of the original text is conveyed effectively since the screen is not changing.

Translation can generally be divided into two categories: literal translation and free translation. Literal translation aims to preserve the unique structure and expressions of the original language, while free translation may be awkward in the translated text but remains faithful to the original meaning.

5. I realized that the reason for using multiple translations is not to translate the words literally, but to capture the nuances of the original text and help readers immerse themselves more deeply in the work.

CPP involves training animals to associate a specific location with a certain experience and then measuring their preference for that location to analyze their emotions.

In the experiment, two locations are provided: one where a stimulus (e.g., food, noise) is given and another where nothing happens. If the animals prefer the location where the stimulus was provided, it is considered a positive experience; if they avoid it, it is considered a negative experience.

For example, mice with cancer preferred the location where they received morphine (a pain-relieving drug), while healthy mice showed no such preference. This demonstrates that CPP is a useful tool for understanding the needs and emotions of animals.

3. 글의 주제

Analyzing Animals' Emotions and Preferences through Conditioned Place Preference (CPP)

4. 새롭게 알게된 점

What I learned is that the Conditioned Place Preference (CPP) method is a useful tool for analyzing animals' emotions and preferences. By observing whether animals prefer a location associated with a positive or negative stimulus, this method helps understand what animals desire or avoid. I also found it interesting that the difference in behavior between cancerous and healthy mice demonstrates how CPP can play a key role in understanding animals' needs.

5. 진로와 연관성

In terms of data analysis and decision-making, the CPP experiment involves collecting and analyzing animal behavior data to determine their preferred locations. Similarly, my career in taxation and accounting involves analyzing financial data and tax information to evaluate a company's financial status and tax obligations, which in turn guides decision-making. Both processes emphasize precise data analysis aimed at reaching rational conclusions, making the approach in CPP experiments comparable to the analysis done in tax and accounting fields.

23 article deals with the role of pain. In modern society, pain is believed to have to be eliminated or suppressed, but it is emphasized that pain has played an important role in human survival and evolution, giving it an opportunity to make better decisions and grow. It also contains warnings that the attitude to avoid pain unconditionally can worsen individuals and society. The subject of this article is that pain is an essential element of life and is necessary for human growth and balance. The reason for the choice is that I think the process of overcoming failure and trial and error is important in automobile design or engineering. And I sympathized with this article in that it deals with pain and failure as an important part of growth. What I learned anew is that in the modern automobile industry, 'process that increases the probability of success by using failure data' has become an important management strategy. Here, the process of using failure data is a method of predicting the cause of failure that may occur in a product or system, and analyzing the impact thereof to prevent or mitigate it. Through this article, I realized again that pain and failure are not negative, but essential processes for better development. I want to be an engineer who contributes to technological innovation with a positive attitude of accepting failures and constantly challenging them in the field of automobile design and engineering, which is my career path.

They both have in common that if they are close, they are more likely to spread. But there is also a difference. Behavioral transmission spreads well when people see it, but viral transmission spreads less because people try to avoid it. Also, viral transmission spreads mostly bad, but behavioral transmission has both bad and good.

3.the difference between behavioral and viral transmission

4.I usually only learned about viral transmission, so I didn't really know it was behavioral transmission. I didn't realize what behavioral transmission was until I saw it. So I chose this fingerprint. I knew that what we do around us can affect people. Usually, human transmission was usually bad with viruses. However, behavioral transmission can be seen as a difference in that it can have good and bad effects. I knew from this that transmission is not necessarily a negative effect, but a variety of effects.

5.I could see that behavioral transmission can affect people around me, but I could feel new about this transmission. My career nurse mainly learns transmission to viruses. However, it was new to me that there was a wide range of transmission such as behavioral transmission. I felt that this had a great influence on working as a nurse, too. Transmission can have a good effect, especially on patients. I think that if one patient has a good effect, it will have a good effect on the patients around it through transmission.

Weber’s law explains that as the intensity of a stimulus increases, it becomes harder to detect the difference between two stimuli.

The reason I chose passage 34 is that I believe Weber’s law could be effectively applied in my future career in marketing.

Based on my research, an example of how Weber’s law is used in marketing is in pricing strategies. For instance, a 5% discount (50,000 KRW) on a high-priced product worth 1,000,000 KRW may not feel significant to consumers. However, a 2,000 KRW discount on a 10,000 KRW product may be perceived as a much larger difference.

What I learned from this research is that understanding consumer psychology and behavior is crucial in marketing. In particular, Weber’s law explains how consumers perceive price changes, which can be used to design strategies that approach consumers more effectively.

As changes were accumulated, some changes were introduced in each process, and the copy would have accumulated meanings that were inconsistent with the original. However, most genomic variations have no apparent change. However, because of the cell lineage, there are often distinct changes.

3.The subject of this article is to explain the cumulative principle of mutations that occur during the gene cloning process.

4.The reason I chose this topic was because it was fascinating that this article was about genome cloning, and it says that genome cloning affects some places and there is no clear change in genome cloning. I chose this drug because I was curious about whether it could be an anticancer drug that could treat cancer by using genome cloning. The in-depth study I chose is that the development of cancer can be suppressed by using genome cloning. Genome instability is caused by DNA, which contains the genetic information necessary for living things, when external harmful factors or damage occurs during the cloning process. By controlling the genomic instability that occurs at that time, it is possible to provide a clue to the development of treatments to overcome cancer, cancer metastasis, and cancer treatment resistance. Based on this, I realized that the genome could not only store our genetic information, but also be a treatment to treat the big disease called cancer. 5. What I thought after reading this article was that genome cloning does not change significantly while storing genetic information in our body like this, but sometimes it can cause changes that are helpful to our body. I thought that I would like to use this to come up with a drug that can treat these fatal diseases such as cancer and dementia.

내용 간단 요약: 고통과 쾌락은 뇌의 같은 영역에서 형성 처리된다 이러한 의미는 고통과 쾌락은 양팔저울같이 서로 상호작용하며 항상성을 유지 한다는 뜻이다. 이러한 고통과 쾌락에 대한 항상성을 유지 하게 해주는 메커니즘이 존재 하지 않으면 우린 아마 살수있는 확률이 매우 희박해질것이다.

After reading the 23rd text of the high school second mock test in October 2024, the effect of the interaction between pleasure and pain on the homeostasis of the body was questioned in detail, and I chose an in-depth exploration on the subject of the effect of pleasure and pain on the homeostasis of the body.

There are two typical hormones that are released when you feel pleasure and pain.

Endorphins and dopamine, which are secreted when you feel pleasure, all cause happiness and are mainly secreted when you have a hobby that you like, appropriate stress (exercise, study). Cortisol and serotonin, hormones secreted when you feel pain, are all secreted when you are feeling extreme tension, or when you feel life threatening, or when you are feeling depressed or frustrated.

These pleasures (dopamine, endorphins) and pain (cortisol, norepinephrine) interact to maintain homeostasis

For example, through proper stress (exercise, study), endorphins and dopamine are secreted and can lead to positive pleasure, while excessive pleasure (excess of dopamine) turns into pain (cortisol, deficiency), which breaks the homeostasis balance

So how does it affect your body if you don't maintain homeostasis, as we talked about in your fingerprints?

If dopamine is deficient, chronic lethargy, depression, and weakened immune systems can make you vulnerable to infectious diseases. However, if cortisol, a hormone secreted when you suffer, is over-secreted, it can be very life-threatening

First, it interferes with the homeostasis of our body and stimulates the sympathetic nerves to greatly increase the heart rate, thereby maintaining a state of tension in the body. When excessive stress is caused on the body, it inhibits the inflammatory response and breaks down the protein in the muscle, causing muscle mass loss and abdominal fat

As there are various effects of pleasure and pain on the body, and as I write down an in-depth exploration, cortisol suppresses and weakens most immune systems, it seems to be similar to AIDS, an infectious disease, so I would like to explore the relationship between cortisol and AIDS.

I chose it because it is the most interesting topic among the topics I learned and is related to marketing, which is my current career interest. I looked for detailed examples while deeply researching this topic. These days, with the development of SNS, people can quickly access various information through SNS. That is why people see advertisements of numerous products on SNS, and they encounter them faster, and they are deceived by such advertisements and continue to purchase state-of-the-art products.

5. After reading this topic, I felt that it was very related to marketing that I am currently interested in my career. I think it is very important in marketing for producers to shape consumer needs and blur the distinction between what they want and what they need in order to sell more products. I think it is very effective to shape consumer needs in this way because the most important thing for producers is performance.
