HADITH JIBRIL AND 5 PILLARS OF ISLAM

I learn about the meaning of IHSAN in Islam.

‘Ihsan’ means beauty, perfection, and excellence. In Islam, ihsan represents the highest level of faith and worship. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explained in the Hadith of Jibril that ihsan is to worship Allah as though you see Him, and if you cannot see Him, then surely He sees you. This teaches us to always be sincere and mindful in everything we do, whether in acts of worship or in our daily life. Ihsan encourages Muslims to perform every action with excellence, honesty, and the right intention, knowing that Allah is always aware of us. It is not limited only to prayer and rituals but also includes good manners, dealing with people kindly, fulfilling responsibilities, and striving to do our best in all aspects of life. By practicing ihsan, a Muslim becomes more disciplined, sincere, and conscious of Allah’s presence, leading to a life filled with blessings and closeness to Him.

Lessons from this:

1.Ihsan encourages Muslims to do every act of worship with full awareness of Allah.

2.It reminds us that even if we cannot see Allah, He always sees us, so we should act with sincerity and honesty.

3.Ihsan is not just about prayer, but also about living with excellence in character, manners, and dealings with others.

1.Belief in Allah (Iman billah)

Muslims believe that Allah is the only God, the Creator of everything, with no partners or equals. He is All-Powerful, All-Knowing, and Most Merciful. This is the foundation of faith.

2.Belief in the Angels (Iman bil-malaikah)

Angels are created from light, and they always obey Allah. They have different duties, such as bringing revelations (Angel Jibreel), recording deeds, protecting humans, and taking souls at death.

3.Belief in Allah’s Messengers (Iman bir-rusul)

Allah sent prophets and messengers to guide humanity. They were chosen by Allah to deliver His message. Some of them are Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), Isa (Jesus), and the final prophet, Muhammad ﷺ.

JUDGEMENT DAY

Judgment Day is the day when the universe will end and all human beings will be resurrected to be judged for their deeds. It is one of the Six Pillars of Faith in Islam, and every Muslim must believe in it.

Main events of Judgment Day:

1.Destruction of the Universe

The world will be completely destroyed. The sky will split, stars will fall, seas will overflow, and everything will perish when the Angel Israfil blows the first trumpet.

2.Resurrection (Ba’th)

When the trumpet is blown again, all humans will rise from their graves, barefoot and unclothed, and be gathered together.

3.Gathering in the Plain of Mahsyar

All of humanity will be assembled in one place, waiting for judgment. The sun will be brought very close, and people will be overwhelmed with fear, each seeking intercession.

4.The Reckoning (Hisab)

Every person will receive their record of deeds. The righteous will receive their book in their right hand, while the sinful will receive it in their left hand or from behind their backs. Every deed, small or big, will be accounted for.

5.The Scale (Mizan)

Deeds will be weighed. If the good deeds are heavier, the person will enter Paradise. If the evil deeds outweigh, the person will face punishment, unless Allah grants mercy.

6.The Bridge (Sirat)

All people must cross a bridge stretched over Hell. The believers will cross swiftly, while the disbelievers and hypocrites will fall into the fire.

7.Paradise and Hell

Finally, the believers who lived righteously will be admitted to Paradise, a place of eternal happiness, while the disbelievers and those who rejected Allah will be sent to Hell as punishment.

In conclusion,Judgment Day reminds us that life in this world is temporary. Everything we do will be judged, so we must strive to live righteously, do good deeds, avoid sins, and always seek Allah’s mercy to be among the people of Paradise.
