Creating Variations with a Flat File.

You can use the 'Add a product' tool to create a variation and add additional options along with the one already existing. To do so, please follow the steps below:
 
> Log into your seller account.
> Under the Inventory tab, please click on add a product.
> Click on create a new product.
> Select your category and sub-category.
> Here in the "Vital info" you will find the option "Variation theme".
> Select your variation theme.
> Once this is selected, you will find another tab "Variations" added.
> Click on variations tab.
> Enter the variation that you would like to create.
> Click on add variation.
> Once this is done, you will need to enter the UPC/SKU/Price/Quantity for each child ASIN which is to be created.
> Once done, please click on save and finish.
 
Your variation will be created accordingly.
 
Note: When you click on 'Save and Finish', you might receive a matching error if some items are already existing in our catalog for the UPCs you are using. You will need to select the option 'Combine details of both products'.
 
Please be informed that for each different variation that you add, you will require a unique UPC/EAN as it is one of the mandatory fields.

► Click on Create a new product listing.

1. Browse for a product category, selecting increasingly narrow categories, and click on Select.

2. On the Vital Info tab, complete the required fields (marked with a red asterisk *).

3. Select a theme from the Variation Theme drop-down list. Select the most inclusive variation theme that you think you’ll need. Once you have created a product with a selected variation theme, you will not be able to change it.

4. On the Offer tab, enter offer information (for example, handling time and delivery method) for your product. This information will be copied automatically to each variation that you create. You can modify the offer information, as needed, for each variation.

5.On the remaining tabs, add offer information, images, a product description, keywords and product attributes. This information will appear in all variations of the product you want to sell. You can edit product information at any time on the Manage Inventory page.

6.When you have finished adding your product and its variations, click on Save and finish.

► Edit a listing

1. In most cases, changes you make to product information appear on Amazon within 5 minutes. However, some updates can take up to 6 hours. Product descriptions 

2. longer than 500 characters are generally updated at 8.00 am PST (4.00 pm GMT) the following day. Images may take up to 24 hours to appear on a product detail page. To edit details for an existing listing: 

3. On the Manage Inventory page, select Active from the Listing Status drop-down menu.

4. Find the listing you want to edit, and select Edit from the drop-down menu.

5. Click on the links at the top of the page to add, edit or change the listing's content.

6. Click Save and finish.

CREATE A LISTING

Create an Amazon-fulfilled listing from the Seller Central home page.

1. Create a listing using “Add a Product” from the left hand navigation under “Inventory.”
2. Search for your product on Amazon and click “Sell yours.”
3. Under “Your Shipping Methods,” choose the second option: “I want Amazon to ship my items and provide customer service if they sell.”
4. Click "Save & Continue."
5. Complete the Send Inventory to Amazon page and click "continue."
6. Select "Create a New Shipment." You can use the default shipment name or create your own shipment name.
7. Click "Save & Continue."

CONVERT A LISTING

Convert a merchant-fulfilled listing to an Amazon-fulfilled listing from the All Inventory View page.

1. Select listings to convert by checking the boxes to the left of the titles.
2. In the "Actions for Selected" drop-down menu, select "'Change to Fulfilled by Amazon."
3. Complete the Send Inventory to Amazon page and click continue.
4. Select "Create a New Shipment." You can use the default shipment name or create your own shipment name.
5. Click "Save & Continue."

SEND OR REPLENISH INVENTORY

Use the "Send/Replenish Inventory" option for items listed on the "Inventory Amazon Fulfills" page.

1. Select the listings you want to send by checking the boxes to the left of the titles.
2. Using the Actions drop-down menu, choose "Send/Replenish inventory."
3. Click on 'Continue to Shipment plan'.
4. In order to Complete the Shipment workflow, click on Approve shipment.
5. You may continue working on the shipment by clicking on 'Work on Shipment'.
6. Click on 'Complete Shipment'.

You can begin working on your shipment immediately or return to it later through the Shipping Queue. When you create a new shipment, it appears with the "Working" status in your Shipping Queue.
