It’s very busy and tourists and locals drive golf carts to get around the island. We rented one yesterday to get to know the island. People here are very friendly! They speak English, Spanish, and a local creole. Today we’ll get to explore it more. The island has beautiful beaches and reefs, but it also has mangrove and swamps. Did you know there are crocodiles 🐊 here? I haven’t seen one yet, but close to the place I’m staying there is a lake where they live. I hope I can see one before I leave.
