I think that facial expression was strongly evident by the only person in the frame (Agent Harisson). She really made good use of the space and made sure to stay present in the situation even if she was not talking.

I think that the scene could be established a little better because the scene moved very quickly and I had to watch the short again to make sure I understood what was going on. However, this is only a fraction of the final performance and the plot will be revealed as more scenes are added to the short.

I really enjoyed the character development of agent Harrison. The agents' personality was clearly backed through the facial expressions and reactions while the other characters were talking. The costume, the harsh tone of voice, and the way they sit overall rounds the character and makes them feel realistic. For something to improve, maybe try better articulating the narration along with the other character's words as it was hard to understand at times. For example, at the beginning it was a little difficult to understand the introductory narration. Of course, this is all knowing that this is only a part of the final product.

Very cool idea with a nice message that is relevant to the times! It was put together well and easy to follow. To add a little more to it, maybe a little more editing or effects to just bring it up a bit.

A wonderful and very relevant message! I very much enjoyed how you guys showed the audience how we can all use social media to put positivity in our lives during this difficult time. I also loved how you addressed all the ways we can still stick together with our peers and family. One very picky thing would just be to perhaps add some more visuals or some editing. But overall the message was clear and relevant and certainly something we all need. -Jordan

I loved the editing and the underscoring, they were fantastic! The story was clear, and you tackled crime and comedy and food, something original. My one comment would be to watch out for grammar. There were a lot of errors in the texts and the black and white "transition." Over all, great pacing and scene delivery.

I'm impressed that you chose this as your idea.
Overall I need a fully edited video to give proper feedback, right now half of the video are unlabeled which makes me really confused as to what's happening within the story. Plus there are no sound effects I don't know if you intended to not have any sound effect but it could help with the audience's understanding of the story.

I can tell that it sounds kinda bitter.
Suggestions: I found using talk to you soon right after saying "you probably don't want to talk to me" is kinda weird. Also, you should use your parent's phone to give yourself a bunch of voicemails, then record the voicemail person(?) and put it into the recording. Also the one min at the end is interesting you should probably take that out.

Because of this I really wish we could see a plot structure or a script to maybe help it make more sense. It could also be helpful to label your scenes just to help the viewer in the pre editing stage. As there was no sound I can't really judge the acting aspect of it. But the stop motion looks very good from what I have watched so far. I am very excited to see what will come of your piece when it is fully completed.

I especially liked how awkward the endings of each message where. At the end of the piece there is a minuet of silence (don't know if that is on purpose) and I am really interested to hear the exes perspective of the story of their reaction/ response to the voicemails. One suggestion I have is to maybe try adding the voicemail beeps and such to make it sound even more realistic.

One thing that I really enjoyed was the creativity and using voice over and off-screen characters to tell the story as you are only one person. One thing that you can work on is improving the voice quality of the voice overs as the sound is very different and therefore takes me out of the story. For me sometimes is got confusing because I didn't know if the narrator, the cop or the person being interrogated was speaking.

I really like the choice of costumes that I have seen so far as each one is unique and clearly shows a character. Also, from the short videos I have seen so far I really like that the camera is moving with you as it increases the intensity of the shot and makes it more believable. It looks like a lot of editing will be needed at the end. It is important to make sure you will be able to do that and make it look smooth and believable.

What is the working title?

The stop motion is a really great demonstration of spacing. Make sure in your collaborative project portfolio to transfer staging language (i.e. you wanted the couch centre because it’s a dominate set piece where the “real” conversations happens. Because of this, you balanced off the rest of the stage with the other furniture and stage dressings upstage left).

Voice over? Sound effects? Make sure that the audios are balanced and CITE every piece of music you use.

Playing Cards - impressive stop motion. Same thing - why is the bed upstage right (to facilitate the conversation and bring out the tension between the characters/heighten the emotion and atmosphere)

The car is brilliant! Nice work showing perspective.

The car crash is also brilliant! Be careful with your sound effects here - you want to keep the right mood/tension to keep driving your play forward.

Cannot wait to see how the FaceTime calls bring together everything. Keep in mind TEAM (Tension, Emotion, Atmosphere, Meaning) as you are putting together your final presentation. Remember: everything needs to drive towards the storyline’s main message and meaning. What is the lasting impact that you want to leave on the audience?

VERY GOOD WORK ON THE STOP MOTION!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said. I agree with the rest of my group that it looks really cool, but I would like to get a better understanding of what's going on or even who everyone is, because this is my first time seeing it, and I can't quite tell what's going on. I know adding voices would be a big undertaking, and probably impossible with this time frame and how it's already been filmed. The videos are very short, and thus you would have to talk really fast. A more detailed caption/title for each section might do wonders, as well as sound effects. The last thing, is that I don't know who the characters are. Is it important for me to know who everyone is? I only ask because I do see people's names in the titles. Is there any way to make the order to watch the videos in more clear? Or are they all going to be compiled into one video? I love the visuals and the idea, and I'm excited to see the final product!

I really liked the general melodramatic element and comedy used. One example would be the end where Harry was sleeping and casually confirms that he killed Gordon Ramsay. I believe that, if there is time, it may be beneficial to re-shot some of the scenes to create a bigger difference between the characters as sometimes it becomes difficult to keep track of who's who even when names are given. Another possibility would be to create a difference in the scenes depending on who's being seen using effects.

-Jordan

I really like the message of how we can use social media to stay contented during quarantine. But the lighting, camera angles and backgrounds are all very different.

What you pointed out in your audio recording is very relevant to the time we are facing right now. I really liked the message. I can relate to what you said about picking up new hobbies. It is relatable to my own experience because I also started a new hobbies which is embroidery. I also learnt how to cook cool new things such as cakes. Overall the audio was well executed but the pauses are a bit puzzling and too long. Maybe if I saw the final product, the pauses would make more sense.

Storyline of the Murder Mystery
I think that facial expression was strongly evident by the only person in the frame (Agent Harisson). She really made good use of the space and made sure to stay present in the situation even if she was not talking.

I think that the scene could be established a little better because the scene moved very quickly and I had to watch the short again to make sure I understood what was going on. However, this is only a fraction of the final performance and the plot will be revealed as more scenes are added to the short.

The different voices where very powerful I also liked the voice over editing. The scene could have been stretched a little longer to make more sense.

I really liked the creativity of the editing and voice overs. Maybe next time try to articulate and make it more clear for the audience to know which characters are talking. I found myself getting lost between the detectives and the suspect.

I loved the editing and the underscoring, they were fantastic! The story was clear, and you tackled crime and comedy and food, something original. My one comment would be to watch out for grammar. There were a lot of errors in the texts and the black and white "transition." Over all, great pacing and scene delivery.

One note about the scene where you were being Gordon Ramsey: you started laughing. It's natural, obviously as it's a funny scene, but the laughing took away from the moment.

A few things
- Few weird parts with the grammar in the texts
- I felt like it took away from the scene with the footage of that guy being in prison because it cut off your head when you stood up. It might've been my laptop but it took away from it.
- The editing was pretty good

I really liked the general melodramatic element and comedy used. One example would be the end where Harry was sleeping and casually confirms that he killed Gordon Ramsay. I believe that, if there is time, it may be beneficial to re-shot some of the scenes to create a bigger difference between the characters as sometimes it becomes difficult to keep track of who's who even when names are given. Another possibility would be to create a difference in the scenes depending on who's being seen using effects.

HAHA I love the concept! From the music, the stock photos, to the chef references, your piece is very funny and unique. Overall, I think it's a very enjoyable piece but I would suggest reading over the text to fix some of the grammar mistakes. I think some others already touched on this, but just try to keep a more serious tone while acting as Gordon Ramsey or the more "harsh" characters.

Very nice, overall the acting was very good, you tone is coming through to me that you are a completely different person.

- The acting was really good. I love that you were playing something that we haven't seen before from you.
- It was very easy to see your intentions as the character even without the visuals so good job.
- I really enjoyed the overall storyline to this piece.
- I really want to see/hear the perspective of the ex boyfriend.
- There is about a minute without audio at the end.

Overall I think this is a great piece. your character had very clear intentions, the story line was easy to follow and you did a great job of changing your tone.

I think I don't have much to say that hasn't been touched on already. I love the way this is presented, and I'm excited to see what happens next in the story. I really like Shira's idea of adding the beeps and such to really bring us into the world. If there is one main thing I would add, it would be that. I really like the acting so far, all the intention is very clear, and the pacing is great, it's nice to listen to. I really like the fact that it's audio only because these are messages on an answering machine because it makes the audience feel like they are part of it all. I imagine that minute of silence is a mistake, so that's just an editing thing. Can't wait to hear the final product!

It really touches up on every aspect of quarantine that we are dealing with now. Some improvements would be definitely volume some clips were quite quiet but thats an easy fix. Also I would say that perhaps add some different form of distractions, so every character has been distracted by someone doing something or speaking to them behind the scenes. Maybe switch it up and one character might get distracted by an alert on their "phone" or notice something out their window, just to add some difference or else it's kind repetitive. Other then that it looks super good so far.
