Its something that I think about a lot. Its one thing to know something.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I'm still struggling to make technology a more fluid and dynamic part of my instruction. I find myself falling back on more traditional methods of instruction a lot, mainly because that is what I have seen more of, personally. I'd like to take the time to reintroduce myself to Edutech and perhaps find something that I am really fascinated by and I will want to share with my students. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My scavenger hunt would be based on Time Management.<br><br>I would give each student a schedule (with different tasks and appointments throughout the day) and ask them to manage their time effectively and ensure they complete all the tasks in the given time frame. Upon completion of each task or appointment the students will collect a token. Once the time is up the students who collected the most tokens will be rewarded. Rewards will be determined based on resources available, but may range from movie tickets to pizza party in class, to extra credit or free pass from one assignment. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My activity would be deconstructing cultural stereotypes.&nbsp;<br><br>1. Students would be asked to write down a stereotype that they have been victims of or feel that others think apply to their culture. They may write their thoughts on it as well and submit it to me.&nbsp;<br><br>2. I will pair students up and assign a stereotype to them. They will not know who wrote this stereotype. Students, in pairs, will then proceed to deconstruct the stereotype and answer questions like: "what are the origins of these stereotypes?" "What things about this culture might have contributed towards these stereotypes being developed?" and "What are the consequences of maintaining these stereotypes?"<br><br>3. After deconstructing the stereotypes, the whole class will have a discussion. Students will be encouraged to share their findings and challenge preconceptions about the culture they researched. They will be asked to consider how hearing those stereotypes may hurt the members of the culture they researched. Students who feel they have been victims of such stereotypes will also be encouraged to, should they want to, share their experiences and thoughts</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My biggest challenge has been Imposter Syndrome, mainly in class. I feel completely out of place when I hear my cohort speaking about things that I'm woefully not aware of. I'm not sure if I've overcome it, but what I'm trying to do is whenever I have a thought, or question, I push myself to share it. Regardless of how it may come across. Because this is also my time, and I will use to benefit me. </div>]]></description>
