Thank you for trusting and hoping that I could be of help. I do realize that you feel helpless and burdened by your husband who drinks and at a times verbally abusive to both you and your children. and I can see that you might have taught of leaving him but since you are married; and you have been deeply devoted and continue to go to mass on Sundays. And amidst of this you sense that the Lord is calling you to remain faithful to your husband. That’s shows to me that this is an invitation of the Lord for you to grow more in loving and forgiving as you have been doing to your husband. How do you feel about this?

Also, I see that even though you have been praying the prayers that your mother taught you, I do not hear you saying of bringing into prayer all the experiences you are having with your husband. So, I encourage you to bring all of these into prayer before the Lord as well. And we can talk more about this in our next meeting.
