  The game was held on February 4, 2018, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota and included an amazing halftime show. It was the second Super Bowl in Minneapolis which hosted Super Bowl XXVI in 1992. It was the sixth Super Bowl in a cold-weather city, and marked a return to the northernmost city to ever host the event. The NFC was represented by the number-one playoff seed Philadelphia eagles,while the AFC was represented by the number-one playoff seed New England Patriots marking the fourth time in the previous five years that the Super Bowl had featured the top team from each conference.
In addition an estimated 103.4 million people watched the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, the smallest audience for television's biggest yearly event since 2009.
All in all  the Philadelphia Eagles pulled together to defeated the New England patriots

I see students disrespecting the teachers and school materials everyday at NMS. The parents need information on how to work with school staff to address their children's behaviors. Hopefully they give teachers and families the tools they need to create safe and positive learning environment. The situations become even more challenging when students inappropriate off school behaviors are brought to our attention. Students sometimes come to school distraught over comments that have been posted on internet sites and that have been forwarded to friends, acquaintances, and countless strangers.  They may have been taunted about their weight, their height, their skin color, their sexual or perceived sexual preference. Some schools have tried to be proactive and encourage good behavior through an approach called positive behavioral interventions and supports.  In today’s society, both must learn the dangers of inappropriate Internet usage.  Parents should understand the importance of proper supervision and students must be taught how to use social networking in ways that will enhance rather than destroy their lives.  Although the law does not make it easy for school officials to become involved in inappropriate and dangerous off-campus behaviors, it does not take away a principal’s moral responsibility to keep students safe both physically and emotionally, so they can learn to their full potential. ]]> 2018-02-06 17:39:46 UTC https://padlet.com/laura_armstrong1/P3One/wish/228742945 Bullying ss4184 https://padlet.com/laura_armstrong1/P3One/wish/228742969  Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion
 to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others. The behavior is often repeated and habitual.  One essential prerequisite is the perception, by the bully or by others, of an imbalance of social or physical power, which distinguishes bullying from conflict. 
All across the nation there are kids getting bullied in schools, at home, anywhere basically even on social media, which is called "cyber bullying". Most bullying happens when the bully is being mistreated at home, or hurting, so they want to take it out on another kids.  
  Kids can mostly be bullied for their race, most bullying happens when the kid is alone and has nobody to back them up, so the bully goes after that kid. They also go after the most vulnerable.
  Rationalizations of such behavior sometimes include differences of social class, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, behavior, body language, personality, reputation, lineage, strength, size.

Lacrosse on the other hand isn't as popular as these sports. Although lacrosse isn't as popular, it still is a well known sport. Lacrosse was originated by many Native american tribes. Back then lacrosse wasn't played how it is nowadays. Lacrosse used to be an all male sport, women were not allowed to play the game. The equipment used for the game was different, too. Lacrosse sticks were made out of wood with rawhide string nets to catch the ball. The balls were made from mainly deerskin stuffed with hair, some people even used wooden balls to play too. Lacrosse has been around for many years. The sport has grown a lot since it was first played. The growth rate from 2010-2015 has been about 30%. Even though the sport is not as popular as most, it is played a lot mainly on the East Coast in the U.S. There it is a very popular sport. Lacrosse is even starting to grow in small places too. I see homeless people everyday out in public. Most countries provide a variety of services to assist homeless people. People who are homeless are most often unable to acquire and maintain regular safe. People who sleep in a public or private place not designed for use as a regular sleeping accommodation for human beings. Homeless people and homeless organizations are sometimes accused or convicted of frequent behavior.  For women in particular, domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness. The country report that top causes of homelessness  among families were lack of affordable housing, unemployment, poverty, and low wages, in that order.  Individual and relational factors apply to the personal circumstances of a homeless person, and may include traumatic events. House fire or job loss, personal crisis, Family break-up or domestic violence, mental health and addictions challenges including brain injury and fetal alcohol syndrome. There are many negative effects of homelessness, both on homeless individuals and the communities in which they live. Wanbli Ska first started about ten years ago in a small church. When the little powwow started to get attention it grew a little more each week. The powwow started to get bigger and bigger and soon had to move to a bigger place. The powwow/dance practice has been moved to different places many times due to the large growth in dancers and singers and even spectators. Wanbli Ska was started by Duran White Eagle and his wife Nora, and they have had great success with the powwow. There are many people who want to dance but don't get to because they don't have outfits and can't afford to get one. So one night out of the week they hold a session where you can go and make an outfit, or they make one for people to use at the powwow.  So some pros could be  if you are not able to use a computer they could pull out there phones and look up want they need to.Cell phones create a convenience that was previously unavailable. With cell phones, you can easily reach your kids for any reason: to ask them questions, change plans, or to simply say hello.But some cons could be students often forget to turn off their phones in class, and ringing noises or text-message alerts disrupt learning. Even if set to silent, cell phones can still cause distraction, since text messaging has become a high-tech method of passing notes in school.
