Teaser: Have you ever had a diffuclt time riding a car or bus. For most people they have no issues. But what about the people who can not phyiscally get on a bus or in a car? Are there ways to get them on or are they out of luck?

Have the student think about the different modes of transportation. After they have come up with a list ask them if someone where to have a physical disabilty would they be able to get on those devices? Ask the students how they would? Ask them how they would feel if someone said they could not get on bus because they could not walk? Such as opening a container or water bottle, folding clothes, sit up and down in a seat, write their name, among other things. After everyone has gone ask if the task were difficult or hard for the students. Were some easier or harder. Ask the class different ways they could do things if they had visual problems.

But to the other person looking at us, we were different because we didn't have what they had. Who was different depended on whose perspective you were looking at.
