  The reasons for belief relating to this video would be Agenticity, and Unexplained. Believing their is a higher self/power or source that is delegating which experiences you have had and will have. With no solid evidence other than stories from an innocent child that couldn't make up stories would give another reason for belief. 
  The red flags of pseudoscience to look for in this video would be Mystical Energy, this being because there is no way of telling if this evidence is true.   A reason for belief contained in this video might be perception/observation, you can see that she is very emotionally connected to and sure of the experiences she is having while under hypnosis, this may cause someone to believe its authenticity.  
  The red flag to consider when viewing this video is Proof of Verbosity. Two cases are given in this video: James Leininger believed to be a reincarnation of a Navy pilot, and Barbro Karlen believed to be the reincarnation of Anne Frank. 
  The reasons for belief would be Simplicity and Unexplained. This is because there are no real explanations for this type of phenomenon, but when there are children who couldn't possibly know the information they are giving, and than proving it to be factual and accurate, we must assume it is correct. 
There are few red flags I came across in this video, as there is research and information available about these cases, and they do have supporting evidence.   The reasons for belief in this article are easily recognized as Patternicity and of course, Unexplained. The reasons for Patternicity is; those with fears often directly correlate with the "experience" or manifestation for reasons of those fears within their present life. Other times it is often correlated with facial features, birthmarks or experiences of the "past life". Again, the facts are unknown due to the unexplained (or coincidence) aspects of this topic. 
  The red flags present in this article are: Appeal to Authority and Proof of Verbosity. The first red flag, clearly being the fact that this is being endorsed by famous celebrities (Oprah) and doctors (Dr. Oz). The second red flag, being the fact that there is so much information about past lives, and Dr. Weiss is credible for writing books and performing many hypnosis sessions, still with no solid scientific proof that we can/do have memories of past lives, or if it is simply a placebo effect of the imagination to heal our fears (or minds).

  The reasons for belief I found in this website are: Emotional Connection and Perception/Observation. The first being because so many people, in fact 1 in 5 Americans believe in reincarnation, due to the experiences or observations they have had. This makes us want to believe there is more than just this life. 
 The pseudoscience red flags to be aware of here are: Ancient Wisdom and Mystical Energy. The first is due to the fact that this practice has been around for hundreds of years, it is easy to look up and find books and courses related to this topic that support its evidence. It is about Robert Snows' skeptical but ultimately uplifting experiences during a past life regression session, and thereafter because of a dare by a colleague. 
 The reasons for belief are astounding in this story, and it's very difficult to apply skepticism to a skeptical police officer who happened to find solid evidence with enough grounds to solve his own case. Although, it leads us to believe in the Unexplained. 
 Some red flags that could be applied found were: Appeal to Authority. This being because an "Institute" are making these claims, of a very detailed experience from a respected social figure (police). Who also pursues his own case to solving his own mystery, which would lead to another red flag to consider: Ideological Support. The first reason being the immense amount of people (religious or not) believing in a higher self or higher purpose, even if a past life regression has not been performed. This also connects to the "Ideology" of personal or social karmic cause and effect through our past, present and future selves. The last of course being the unexplained desire and need for our purposes to be explained, so we believe there is more to our beings (or souls) existence. 
The red flags to consider when examining this statement is: Ideological Support.  The main red flags to be cautious of in this subject are: Appeal to Authority, Confirmation Bias and Proof of Verbosity. It is important to critically evaluate what information you have gained if it true and accurate.   The reasons for belief for many people can easily be pointed as the "Patternicity" involved with the laws of karma that many are familiar with (cause and effect, with everything good - there is bad, and balance to complete ones karma). All of this is in relationship to the unveiling of past lives, to help guide our present and have an understanding of self. 
  Some red flags to consider with the specific image are: Confusion of Correlation with Causation and Appeal to Authority. The reasons being the belief of karma is being endorsed by a well-known celebrity, and with much research there are many more credible celebrities, doctors and institutes that support this topic. An example of Correlation with Causation in regards to karma would be: finding a penny, than having a stranger pay for your groceries, thus automatically believing your're in good karma.
