         <description><![CDATA[<div>[1] In John Taylor Gatto's article, "Against Schooling" he suggests that schools are used to teach students how to strictly be manageable individuals. [2] To accomplish this, the author compares boredom to schooling as well as discusses the origin of our educational system. [3] Gatto's purpose of writing this article is to show the failings of schools today in order to explain his solution for these shortcomings. [4] His intended audience includes anyone involved in the school system, parents, teachers, students, and so on.</div>]]></description>
