One in five Americans admits to urinating in the pool, according to a survey conducted by the Water Quality and Health Council. Urinating in the pool is a very common reason of bad pool water. It is unhealthy and disgusting. 

 When we enter the pool, we add, sweat, urine, lotion, invisible fecal matter, and chlorine reacts with these substances to make pool healthy, but sometimes due to low or unbalanced chlorine level, the water is not cleaned properly. And the due to its by-products the pool water gets unclear.

 If the chlorine dispenser is not working properly it can affect the color and quality of the water. Chlorine, if dispense less cannot disinfect the water. And if dispensed more than the normal value, can irritate the skin and eyes of the swimmer. 

 Dirty/unclear pool water can be a reason of poor filtration system, either the filtration system is not working properly or the pool is putting too much load on the system. One of my CPO friend who is working in a Atlanta lifeguard jobs center told me that some filtration systems are not enough for a large pool. A filtration system largely depends on the size and capacity of the pool.

 Pool water is something which directly attracts the patrons, fresh pool water means more visitors.
