School feels like a cage

Freedom fades stress

Student power, Elevator, Privilege vs Oppression

Fourteen hundred steps echo
through narrow halls,
while silence drips from
the hundred who float
between floors
untouched by sweat or time.

We stand in lines
as long as injustice.
Pressed by walls,
by rules,
by a sign that says:
"Faculty Only."

We are not unseen —
only unheard.
But voices grow in the wait,
in the crowd,
in the climb.

One day,
our feet will shake the ground,
and no door
will stay closed.

They are all fooling us that we don’t have any proof to liberate from this loop of pools.
