It is frustrating sometimes when I ask students for a response and all I hear is "crickets"

I chose engagement for my goal to try to develop/focus on ways to get the students interested in what we're learning. Without that motivation, many are not even attempting to complete the lessons.

I chose engagement because I need ways to get them to actually communicate with me. I need them to understand that active participation actually helps with their comprehension.
