-Figured out what materials to use for the building and for the furniture.
-During the meeting with Shekaina and Natasha we each dicussed our individual research and findings and we all put forward a number of ideas about the studio and the office furniture. 
-We came to the conclusion that we needed to come together in person and do an acitivty where we all design a table and merge our ideas into one to create something new. We want to create a table that is beneficial to everyone and incorporates sustainability in its everyday use. 
-After the tutorial as a whole group with Sylwia we decided to meet up in person on thursday at 11am to design the desk. Another thing we need to do is go around the unis and collect scrap material that can be used and to take pictures of the things that could be improved and changed.
-I created a group padlet so it was easier to have all our ideas in one place. A few people from the group couldn't be there due to having other obligations but we updated them when the meet up was over. We also called a group member who is not in the UK on teams so everyone is involved in the intial decision making. Each person put forward their ideas and we discussed each idea in depth. We found that the running theme of all the ideas is 'Waste'. Each person had put foward an idea that linked to the idea of waste being a problem in the uni and we all had individual experiences that proved that. We discussed making a studio space that we could advertise with a magezine/website. The studio space would be somewhere that students to take their waste and it could be turned into furniture. -Very confused on where to start with the brief as it is so broad.

Wednesday (Research):
-Show&Tell of initial ideas & research
-Found Kulla Design studio which inspired the idea of looking at waste
-Really liked the idea of using the waste from studios on the ground floor of c block and the food waste from the canteen to make furniture for the uni. 
-Sharing ideas with everyone in my group (and also hearing their ideas) really helped the stressful nature of being introduced to a new brief. As I spoke to everyone 
I realised that everyone was in the same boat and we was all overwhelmed with how broad the breif was. However, as we was talking to eachother we all fell into our own ideas and the conversation about climate change just started to flow. 

Thursday (Material):
-We all brought in different materials and we started to discuss what to make. After a while of trying to decide we thought it would be best if we all make individual things that we can then put together in the end. -Customizing the jumpsuits with a partner
-We decided to get a blank jumpsuit so we can have a fresh canvas to work with.
-We had found some reference pictures that we wanted to use for inspiration and we had breifly discussed what we wanted to do via WhatsApp.
-The whole day was a very interesting/fun experience and we constantly shared ideas on what we wanted to do next.
-Seeing the jumpsuits on the carnival day was almost the embodiment of collaboration. 
-It was interesting to see so much collaboration happen in once event. (the jumpsuits to the actually carnival.

Thursday ( Group evaluation):
-We discussed the two weeks as a group and expressed what we liked and what we disliked.
-It was really interesting to hear everyones opinions on how the two weeks impacted their group and how it had set them up for the rest of the project.
- I believe that the two weeks was the perfect segway into the rest of the project as we had time to explore different ways of collaborating and sharing ideas. I was nervous about starting this project but after the two weeks I felt like I was fully prepared to bring valuable research and ideas to my other group.

We would work in these groups to get more work done in a shorter timespan and then we would come together after a week and merge ideas. This idea really worked for us as we constantly communicated with eachother and made sure no one was confused on what was happening.

I tried to mold the homemade paper clay to the c shaped tin (for the 4th time). I let it air dry and I belived thaqt it would take about 1 week for the whole thing todry fully but when I checked up on it I found that the sample had started to grow mold. I confided in my group and told them that the process wasnt working as I didnt have the right equipment at home. I told them that I was gonna try to do a mini model in normal clay and they all agreed. I bought some normal clay and created a C shape with the clay.
