What is the women’s role in society reflected in the movie?
Women are minimized to a group people who have to fight to achieve their dreams or goals and grow in the society.
How is the woman perceived? (By relatives, friends, society, politics)
The woman is perceived socially like a person who can only be delicate and dominated by man and powerful people.
Example:
* When people say: the woman have to be in the kitchen - she shouldn't be talking with men - Women should have children and be at home.
What is your opinion about it?
Women should be respected and accepted in all places without restrictions or discrimination, because we are a fundamental part of society.
How do you feel when analyzing the movies? Why?
I feelt sad when I think that we have had to fight for a long time to be loved and accepted by others, we have had support from others althought many times our family does not support us.
What was the most uncomfortable event or situation for you? Why?
About the movie: When women are abused, mistreated and ignored because they need help and no one is there for them...
In my life: When I have had to allow my family treated me badly and not reach my dreams because theirs goals or dreams are more important.

My Opinion about their stories...

I mainly indicate that I interviewed my mother and my older cousin, she is like my sister... and they don't want their audios or videos to be published, they are very reserved...

1. What stories were meaningful for the members you spoke to?
I told my cousin about the movie I, Tonya... She identified with that movie because her mom mistreated her a lot and left her forgotten. On the other hand, my mom was always loved by her parents although her dad was very strict and serious.

2. What stories were meaningful for you and why?
I think that both stories, because they were mistreated by men, abused both psychologically and sexually, they were discriminated against because their families were poor and they did not have many luxuries.

3. What conclusions can you make from the members' stories?
Well, I think that, they are women fighters, because their problems and sufferings have not overcome them and they are still standing before the world.

4. What struggles did you identify in their stories?
I think that surviving psychological abuse, humiliation, beatings and sexual abuse is a symbol of struggle. All women should be loved and respected above all things.

5. How do/did the members cope with those difficulties (if any)?
In my cousin´s case, she still visits the psychologist, because one of her stories was repeated with her daughter. My mom is stronger, she was able to defend herself and moved on, although she always talks to me about how bad she had.

6. Do you consider their stories resemble your own personal experience? why?
I experienced a similar situation, I have been humiliated by men and I was sexually abused when I was a child (please don't ask me about that), but I am a woman with big dreams and situations from the past will not affect me, because I am a mother and I do not want my son suffers.
